Have any of you ever done this?  I have started too many times and never finished.  This year I will do it.  I am going to post a thread on the Texas Message Board daily with the verses and that I read them.  The OH people really give me a chance to be held accountable.

Hey George,
When I was laid up with one of my knee surgeries, I listened to the whole Bible on tapes.....it was so neat.
I read mine every day (ok sometimes I miss), but try to,
and it seems the devotional booklet uses the same readings over and over....I may try to read thru again this year.....thanks,
Pat R.

I got one of the dvd bibles from a tv infomercial. It shows the text on the screen and reads it to you. It helps alot with places and names(pronunciation). I do not ever make it thru Genesis when I try to start reading. I am hoping the dvd will help me. Best of luck I think you can do it.

George,
Three years ago my husband & I did this together. It was great. I would read in the morning and he after work. Then when I arrived home we would discuss it. It really added to the time spent in the Work.
I wish you success in this.
Blessings & Merry Christmas!

I also have tried many times and would get to a certain part ( usually where you are drowning  in begats) and I would stop. I would like to do it chronologically( nice spelling jean) and there are many lists, so Ihave no excuse. I do a great devotional and read my bible, but I have been falling down on a good system..Good luck..Blessings

I will post the verses for each day on this board too, as long as there is interest.  It's all about holding myself accountable.

George, I lurk, but I would love for you to post here so that I can follow along.  That is something I have determined I will do more of this next year.  I have read the Bible, but I won't to read it through next year.  Thanks so much for this.  It will be a huge help and as you say, it will make us accountable.
