I just got a call from my cousin's wife and she told me that my 91 year old uncle is in ICU and he is bleeding internally and they don't know why. I would appreciate prayers for him and my aunt and their family.

He has a lot of major health issues and they don't expect him to live to long. There is a lot of things wrong and they can't do much for him since they said that he probably wouldn't live through them.

He is the caregiver for my aunt (mom's sister) who has Alzheimer's (like my mom). They are both deaf and so dependent on each other. We know that if something happens to Uncle Bob my Aunt Virginia won't be far behind him. They are just inseparable. For the last few weeks Uncle Bob has been in a nursing home for therapy to help him build some strength. They are lost without each other. It is so hard with them being deaf since they are in a different world with that also.

I would appreciate any prayers that you can send up for everyone. Thanks again in advance and I will keep you all posted on what is happening. Bill and I are going up to the hospital to be with them. I think that if something happens it would help to have some family up there with them.

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.

Yes, you all are  in my prayers.  My Husband's Grandfather and his wife both had Alzheimers, so we understand what this means for each of you.  May the Lords loving hands touch you and yours.

Brenda,
Prayers are on the way. Alzheimer's is such an awful disease. First with my grandpa, now my aunt...
With your aunt and uncle both being deaf, that makes their reliance on each other more than most couples.

Just being there with them will be a huge relief. Take care of you and Bill too.
