Hi Linda,

I haven't posted much lately but I wanted to say Hi!  I hope your meds help you to relax a bit, tho I know this time of year is tough.  Just think happy thoughts of holiday magic with your grandbabies and maybe that will help the anxiety a bit. Huggs!!

We got our first big snowstorm yesterday.  I am getting ready to put on the coffee to warm us up before we head out to move the FOOT that fell.  They say more is coming on Sunday, so I'm gonna pass on the gym today in lieu of shoveling.    My husband, Glenn says he hates the snow, but I can tell he loves his snow blower.  hehehe!  Glenn and I are going out to dinner with friends tonite, our annual Yuletide event...then after we are coming back here for cards...so I will be eating light today, and doing housework in-between the snow moving.  Gonna see if I can talk my son into helping me build a snowman.

menu for today:

B- cheese stick and 1/2 grapefruit

L- Meatball, roasted garlic and 1/2 grapefruit

s- ?

D - out with friends, so something fish or chicken

Good morning to our little Christmas angel. How are you doing this wonderful (simply because it is my favorite day of the week) Saturday morning? I hope that everything just gets better and better for you since you deserve nothing less than that.

Just a bit of last minute shopping for me today. I have something to get for Bill and then a blouse for my neighbor and the last minute gift cards too. Then I am FINISHED!!!! Thank you, God! I did some wrapping last night but this year everything is in gift bags. I could just kiss the inventor of those wonderful things. This is the first year that everything is in those lovely things. OPPS! I have to get DIL's gift too. I forgot her and I am not sure why. I was thinking of what to get her last night. I can't forget her again that is for darn sure.

It is cold here this morning. I just heard that it is suppose to a high of 5 and 7 tomorrow and Monday and so since it is warmer today I am going to enjoy the "warm" weather. The temps are even lower on Sunday and Monday nights. I know that it is sweatshirt and heavy comforter nights for sure.

B: sf oatmeal w/ mixed berries in it
S: low carb slim fast shake
L: ground beef and veggies
S: sf applesauce
D: not sure yet but with veggies
S: cheese sticks

I better get going. I slept late this morning so everything is behind. And with that happening everything is getting behind. What a day. I am watching I Love Lucy and so I am going to eat breakfas****ching her.

I am sending love and hugs to you along with the special prayers that go up for you and yours. Stay warm and safe and have a most blessed Saturday!

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.

S. Protein Shake
L. Homemade beef/veg. soup
S. ?
D. Chicken breast and cooked carrots.

Boy, I don't even want to look at what I ate yesterday.  Not all bad but certainly not what it should have been.

I was looking through the food ads the other day and I found myself muttering.. Poison,  Poison, Poison to so many foods.     My gosh, if the grocery stores advertised only healthy food they would be down to one page.  I had to stop in the store for a few "things" and I was soooo tempted to buy "just a little something" for a treat.    Those little somethings are what made me become a big something.  I treated myself to zucchini, and some nuts to snack on. Plus I fixed a small plate of snacking items to munch while I sew.   zucchini, apples, healthy cheese ball, and nuts.

Ohhhhh  I don't want to wait til January to "start my diet again"  .... doomed to fail.  I will start NOW

1st B ...  scrambled egg w/ cheese  1Tbl bacon bits
2ndB ... protein shake w/ banana
Snack  try of veggies fruit
1st L ... Chili w/ cheese
2nd L  Chili  w/cheese
Snack... tray of veggies-- fruit
1st D ... shrimp w/ veggies
2nd D... repeat of 1st
Snack... cheese and crackers.

Have a Fabulous Day and Enjoy the Cold Weather...  yup, I did say that  lol

S: iced skinny latte
L: egg salad
S: protein bar
D: chicken & shiitake cakes, Dijon broccoli
S: SF pudding (banana fudge supreme - so good!)
