I just found out that my grand daughter's stepfather should be on the sex offenders list.  Because of a technicality and a very naive mother he managed to plea bargain down.

Please pray for me to do the right thing....I need to act and not REact.  Our granddaughter's daddy is in the Navy and in the Atlantic Ocean somewhere near the Congo/South Africa and I am not telling him at this point since he is unable to do anything while out of the county. And not real sure what he can do even then.... I need guidance as to what to do.  Pleae pray that I find the right people and the right answers for everyone.

Vickie, no one should have to deal with a situation like this. I will keep you and yours in my prayers. I pray that you know just what you are suppose to do about this situation and that the people that you are suppose to deal with become evident to you. I am praying for the safety of your grand daughter also.

Please keep us posted on how this runs out. I am sincerely praying that God makes evident your answers.

I would pay the $$$ for legal counsel.....  find out what you can or cannot do.  Get some sort of documentation on the records.

I would rather a person be faced with false accusations than find out a child was molested because I was too afraid to do anything.  The trauma of molestation goes on forever.  

I certainly would NOT tell the daddy until he comes home.  And when you do... make sure there is the documentation

What saddness you must feel!! . My heart is breaking for that little one. I will keep her in my prayers and also you that you can find the direction you need to go in handling this horrible situation.
