Hi there Miss Linda,
Had a bit of extra time so just wanted to stop in and say hi.

Cold, cold
, cold here.

Nothing new on the menu...just trying to stay away from all the treats that are abundant at work....

Have a lovely day...Hugs,
Cheryl

Linda,

I had big plans for today, including a dentist appt (teeth cleaning), visiting Mom, and going to my gym for a Pilates class.  But we had an ice storm last night, my car is thickly covered with ice, the dentist's office is closed, and who knows if the instructor will show up for class.  Where I used to live (in MA), our town budget included plenty of $$ for sanding and salting the roads.  Here in TN, there is no budget for winter weather, so it can be pretty scary driving.

B: weight control oatmeal w/ skim milk, banana & PB2
S: iced skinny latte
L: steak, mushrooms au gratin
S: protein bar
D: turkey a la king, broccoli
S: SF pudding

Wow Jean, you are really snowed in,I am sorry. Good thing you do not have to dig your way out to a teaching job today.
I hope your day was mellow anyway.

Good morning to you our little sweetie. I am writing in red and green to try to get a bit more of the Christmas spirit. I am not so sure it is working but I will continue to give it a try. When you see me writing in black you will know that I am not in the spirit. ha ha

I am meeting a girl from the IN board today. Her husband lost his job last week and he has a interview with NIPSCO (Northern IN Public Service Co.) our local gas and electric company. After they leave that they are coming to see me. We are hoping that they get here in time for all four of us to go to lunch but something seems to tell me that they won't. It is icy here and I know that Bill will leave early for work. I am so excited that we are finally going to meet. Neither one of us go to the IN board often anymore. Just a bit more drama than I care for. For Janene too she says. We have kept in touch and talk on the phone on a regular basis. I have a lot of clothes for her to take home and she is bringing me some that is a 3-4X and I know just where to take them. A woman around here lost everything in a fire and she needs clothes that size and so I am going to give them to her.

Food is a bit in the air today with Janene and Mark coming. But here goes what I do have control over.

B: slim fast low carb shake
S: fruit
L: who knows
S: fruit
D: not sure but thinking of fish and veggies
S: sf pudding

I better get going since I have some last minute things to do before they get here. Have a wonderful day and know that I am sending love and hugs and special prayers to you my dear friend. Have a great day and remember to smile!

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.

I just gave away another 4 bags of clothing icluding my lovely red velvet Christmas robe that I now swim in. I gave that to my bff,she will soon be having the surgery,so I want her to enjoy it while she can.Happy Trails!

 Good morning Linda,
My pocketbook is super light today. I just ordered a tank of fuel oil to surprise Tom. Better yet, I paid for it myself. That $tuff i$ certainly expen$ive.

My food just doesn't change much day to day. All I need is cottage cheese, Kashi, chicken and some fruit. A few green veggies to keep the plumbing working and the day is complete. How easy is that?

Have a blissful day. You are loved.
Kisses

Hiya sis, sorry I am just getting back to you. How nice Tom and you are cozy!
My food does not change much, but I have added a banana now and then,it helps the plumbing, plus I have very low potassium.
You too are loved..hugs!
