OT ~~ Real Estate School

Is anyone out there a real estate agent or have been a real estate agent.
I am going to start pre-licensing school in February and am trying to decide the best agency to place my license with any advice???

I am a licensed REALTOR/Broker in NC.  I am with a small private company.  I would advise you to interview with different companies to determine what their fees are and what type of training they will provide.  Your fees can vary greatly from company to company.  Once you have all the facts you can make an educated decision. 

The real estate market is not in the best place right now so if you are looking to make a living there right now it's not the time to jump in with both feet.  If you have a regular job you might consider working real estate parttime until the market swings up again.

Thank you all for your input. Just a little more info on my part. Today I turn 60. In December 2004 I had a stroke and I am on Disability. I have managed to recover about 95%. I still have some mental and physical disabilities but have found how to work around them so they are not real obvious. I had to give up my prior career as an accountant, too much pressure with deadlines, and a few other things. So I felt that my second love has always been real estate that with the fixed income I have until I start earning commissions etc that this would be something I could do.
