IT'S TUESDAY - What's new with you? Besides the look of this board.
Hi everyone,
Well I decided to post on this today instead of just lurking.
It is cold but not as bad as last week only -8C (apx.23F). We had a lot of snow last week but not so far this.
I babysit my granddaughter Elizabeth (1year last week) on Mondays and Tuesdays. Yesterday was a lot of fun as she is just toddling around and has a sunny personality. Today when I picked her and mom up and took mom to work (we have a bus strike on so am on chauffeur duty) she warned us that she has chicken pox. What fun.... when I changed her the spots are all over her torso. We are having 8 for dinner tonight for a Christmas exchange with son, DIL and hubby and I and DD and sons godmother and hubby. Fancy china and silver ... they're sort of snobbish so I must be with them.
Go to Utica on Thursday for appointment with surgeon followup on Friday and then home Saturday and my side's Christmas dinner and exchange at 4:30pm.
Must have all presents (18) wrapped before we leave for drs. Thursday. so that leaves tomorrow.... have to make soup for advent supper at church tomorrow as well, so I guess I know what I will be doing while soup is simmering. Wrapping!!!

Good Afternoon George....and everyone......
I am late again as usual. Good to hear that all is well with everyone, well mostly everyone!!
I am frazzled. My daughter called yesterday and they are having a big ice storm Thursday so now I am leaving in the morning. She said they are getting 6-8 inches of snow today. I sure hope the roads are clear by the time I need to travel on them!!
I got my Christmas gifts wrapped and bagged this morning between work phone calls. I have started to gather some things to get packed too. I have lists for my lists!!
I went out this morning to go to the bank for cash and also filled my car up with gas. I am good to go there!
I am taking my laptop along with me so I hope to find sometime to check in once in a while.

Okay, perhaps I might have overdone it just a tad too much today and/or tonight.....
Left work at 2:30 because the weather was bad.... but went to Costco...so could have stayed at work... but since this surgery, the cold weather is a killer to my back... so thinking that I'll have arthritis in my back for the rest of my life... and then... came home and sister and sister-in-law came over and I made mulled wine..... it's rather tasty and I think I'll sleep very well, thank you.
Christmas program for granddaughter tomorrow. Guess I'll go in late so I can see her.

Hi George and all my OFF friends,
I had a really busy day here on Long Island. I went with Heather to deliver an Avon order, to the bank, to Linens n Things for their store closing sales. We also got a few sales at Marshals, had a shared lunch at Applebees and finally collapsed at home. Then we showered and changed for our support group Christmas party tonight and went out in snow and sleet to have some fun with our friends. It was a very long but good day with my daughter! I hope that all of you enjoyed your day!
