Good Sunday morning all!  Had a good Saturday.

I slept while Mary did some quick shopping.  Real quick.  Into Old Navy, get 4 thermal shirts and leave with 4 movie tickets.  Back in, 4 more shirts, 4 more movie tickets.  Now we just have to go to 4 movies before the end of January.  Should be able to do that.

While I slept, Mary went to a Stamping class.  Then we went to granddaughter's dance recital.  Home for a quick nap.  Then Mary to a Partylite Party. Me home and then work.  Will see you all later.

Wanted to thank you so much for the beautiful Christmas card......Mary is quite the crafter.  I love hand made things.  Anyway it's hanging in a place of honor.

good morning

its 5:30 and i just put up the coffee pot, man oh man i need a cup.

i survived my office christmas party last night.  it was so wierd, i didnt want to be there, but DH who is usually adverse to going out and about had a wonderful time.  he didnt stop talking all night, i think he bent our new nurses boyfriends ear right off.  oh well.

anyway, the food was uninteresting so at least i didnt do any real damage there.   my office manager came with her boyfriend and since she didnt have to drive home alone, she had a few drinks and was feeling no pain, boy are we gonna tease her on monday!!!!

anyway, today i have lots of errands to do for my mom, so it will be a busy day.  hope you all have a good sunday, hugs, be safe and well, jacki

Good morning everyone.  It's gonna be another lovely day in paradise.

Today I will have my son and a grandson or 2 move some bulky things out of my dining room to make room for tables for next Sat. Christmas party.  With everyone working and at school and practices it has to be today.  I want to vacuum and mop well before I put up those other tables!  I'm also gonna clean the 2 spare bedrooms and the extra bathroom and be done with them.

Pretty boring day here.  But that is usual for us!

I can never decide whether to talk about what happened yesterday or my plans for today on this thread.

So now I will talk of my plans.  Two hours from now I hope to be close to sleeping.  I will get up at noon to watch the Jets game.  When it is over, I may nap for 45 minutes or so, then take Mary to the movies.  Come home and watch the final episode of Survivor, then go to work.  Pretty boring, but that's my life.

 George your life is never boring.  Maybe not as active as others but no way boring.  What movie are you taking Mary to?...  Sounds like a nice leisurely day ...

I've been kind of MIA this week and haven't caught up much from the past few days.  Hope all are well! 
Yesterday I took Angus and Daphne to the vets to get a booster shot (it's at PetSmart in Rossford Margo).  I got there before anyone else was there to set up so I ran over to Giant Eagle to get some paper towels for Planned Pethood.  While there I ended up finishing my Christmas shopping with $$$$$ in gift cards!  whooohoo!  Got my dad 3 for different restraunts I know they like to eat at, brother pro bass shop, SIL Pottery Barn and Michaels, son, Home Depot, Startbucks, Barnes and Noble and Cold Stone.  With all that, I then had a lot of fuel perks and got gas for ..........drum roll please......... 20 cents a gallon!  How cool is that?  Needless to say when I finally got done shopping the event had started so I walked back over carrying my booty and chatted a bit, picked up the kids and got their picture taken with Santa!  Home, lunch and read and knitted.  exciting day eh? 
today is perhaps finally getting the tree decorated a bit of clean up and knitting.  I'm working on a scarf for ME!  got some wonderfully neat yarn the other day called Angel Hair.  so soft!  using smaller needles then I usually do so it takes longer, but I have quite a bit done all ready so it won't take THAT long!   It all ways seems I manage to drop a stitch someplace or add on a stitch someplace.  In this one I did both!  Ha!

Guess I'll use this as my grateful and gripy post...:)

I had a spectacular day yesterday.  This is not in priority order.... 

I went to the $8 Fashion Outlet (again).  They gave us cards to give people and said if you wrote your name on the back and they presented it, you could get a free item ($8). Well, my friend Leslie took one in and I happen to see a girl from the TMB come in, so I gave her one..... I got two free tops... and that's all I got. 

My son came over and helped me with the house a little, and then got the new pre-lit tree out of my shed.  Got that put up but not decorated. At least the kitchen and living room is decent and I can get it decorated this week.

My granddaughter (5) called and said, "Grammy, this is Kara, your favorite granddaughter, will you take me to look at Christmas lights?"... She didn't have to ask twice.  I spoke to Mom who said it was fine... picked her up, took her to Tolbertson's for hot dogs, (in Grapevine), and then we strolled Main Street and looked at the lights, animation and carolers.  Had a great time.  When I got her home we sat down with the whole family and played Charades, Jr.  

I came home and 'dropped' into bed.

Now my gripes..:)  I've got something that feels like a stitch pulling in my left groin.  Probably exactly what it is, but I can tell you it best not last for a long time or I'll be taking drugs for anxiety.  It is a nuisance and it hurts.  I've already emailed my doc since it's not life-threatening.

Today promises to be nice and somewhat warm.  The rest of the week is the trickle down from you Dayumm Yankees and Western Cowboys.....

Well, I'm up.  Guess I'll log onto my worksite and see what I can print off and sign and back before tomorrow.  Life goes on.
