OT: Let Her Rip

Brenda, I think you hit it on the head.  I believe she is used to me always cleaning up after her and the girls.  Now that she is no longer working from home, she spends her evenings on the computer catching up with her friends etc and letting the housework and laundry go. Wish I had time for that!  IOn the one hand she complains that I've forgotten that she is and adult and 31 yrs old and then the next she is expecting me to clean up her mess.  I told Earl this am that this was the last time I was going to do it. He agreed that I am making it too easy for her not to take care of her responsibilities.  Time for some tough love I guess.

Can't wait to see you & Eileen tomorrow too!
Hugs, Paulette

You've got to make time for yourself, Paulette. ... she is a grown girl now and has to run her own house. It's fine for you to baby-sit, but you need to let her do her own housework.

I don't have many gripes....am I the exception??

Here goes:
Lack of time mostly....not enough hours in the day, even when
I get up at 5 or 5:30 a.m.

A piano student's Mom who told the kid I was giving him a gift,
hello, this was supposed to be a surprise....they don't celebrate
Christmas, so it was tough finding something for him....ended up
with a big coloring book and huge box of crayons.  He asked me
what I was giving him!!!  I told him just have to wait and see.

Feel really blessed this year....

My biggest gripe in my 18 year old son needs to get a job.  He has been without one for a long time.  Plays vidoe games and skateboards everyday, and I gave him until Sunday, if he doesn't have a job by then I'm kicking him out!

I get to gripe?.... really! ... cool beans!

Lessee..... where do I start!

1.  Barking dogs.... Why do people let their dogs bark and bark and bark... it is so rude and inconsiderate! ... Can'****ch tv, work in the yard or shop, take a nap, eat dinner, or enjoy anything because there is always some asshole's dog barking!

2.  Mouth breathing knuckle draggers who think that the only way to succeed at work is to drag everyone down as much as possible in the vain hope that the bosses will see the tops of their pointy heads above the crowd of other workers with bus tire marks on their backs.

3.  My lack of intestinal fortitude when it comes to food.... food always wins. I have won a couple minor skirmishes, but food is really winning the war. I have been through a lot... and even have awards for heroism and have done some incredible things.... but when it comes to food, I crumble.

4. People on a board who block me because of I am a man.

5.  Shoes that feel ok when you buy them, but nearly cripple me when I wear them to work.

Thanks Darlene... I needed that

then I guess this thread isn't for you.....how lucky...
