Snowing in New Orleans
Okay, a word of wisdom from my dad..... We used to be able to drive on the beach and had a lot of sandy roads around here. We were on the beach and a couple from up north were stuck in the sand. Dad help them get out and then told them "If you will think of driving in snow when you are in sand or loose dirt it will help alot. Then he turned to me (I was about 12) and said Vera, if you ever have to drive in snow remember how I taught you to drive on the dirt roads and sand." It has never let me down. With DH in the Navy we lived anywhere from FL to PA to DFW, TX and points in between! Hope this helps both you Yankees and the Rebels. LOL
