I think I figured it out ...

Well, I have been giving this a lot of thought, trying to figure out WHY I keep attracting all of these cavemen. I think it is my age! 55 and desperate? Is that what they think maybe?

THis is my 2nd marriage.  Wehn I was in my 40's and single I had the same problem.  When the right guy comes along, you will know.

Nothing wrong with you at all. You have values and high standards. You do not need to compromise them for anyone.

The problem is that most men in our age bracket are divorced at least once if not more. They have decided to just have fun and to hell with the old values. Many are bitter and don't have much respect left for women. They want sex and no strings.
Many married young and want to let loose and see what they were missing.

I could go on and on but I won't. Don't get me wrong there are plenty of nice men out there but it takes a lot of time to weed through all the crap. I love men....I am just happy that I  finally found a good one. You will too.

The same jerks are out there for fat women also. I know- I met most of them.

The hell with staying fat....just go for younger men.

I am not even close to my goal, but I will be some day.. and I have been married 3 times - several relationships with losers and I am not so sure that I want to find or try to find the right man.  It is so much trouble !!!

I truly have a big time distrust problem.  I have been cheated on, lied to, and a lot of down right disrepectful issues..  BUT oh, how I miss cuddling and companionship... just not enough to lower my standards, so I am alone.

I anxiously wait in the alcove and listen for Darlene and your reports.  Connie seems to be doing good.  And Linda has her head on straight.   We shall where all this takes us, huh?

you want to talk about being amused? men? dating? fat? you just found the right person sister.....bring it on, I'll tell you and the thing you said about should have stayed fat? down right stupid.....if I had stayed fat I would be dead then I wouldn't have to worry about it....

I'm not sure what your problem is with the men, I haven't followed any of your posts about it....but I think you need to do some self examinations of yourself and what you are looking for and expecting. Remember, if your on this board your over 30 and we just don't like like 21 year olds anymore....

Concentrate on yourself for awhile.....when it is time, you will know it, when it is time you will be in the right place for it to happen.....YOU CAN'T MAKE IT HAPPEN!!! TRUST ME....I KNOW...

Now I'm calmed down, you got my dander up....lol.....You want to talk issues? I have issues......we all have issues and baggage......
