Hi Linda,

Sorry about the binging on bread for you.  I am afraid to eat any bread because it would really be a trigger food for me, too.  You did good to get it out of the house!  You go, girl!  Sure hope you have a good Thursday!

Thanks for HALT Linda.  That's new to me and a good thing to remember.  I had a downfall yesterday evening too.  Went to a mexican restaurant to meet a friend, expecting to just have lots of water and ate tortilla chips and salsa .  But I too am back on the straight and narrow today.

I haven't been getting my protein, calcium and water in like I should.  Maybe that is part of my problem!

 I haven't been posting like I should..... sigh.  

 I had an appointment Monday with the nutritionist. OMG  I'm considered hypoglycemic now and it has it's own special problems.  My blood sugar kept dropping and I was a mess.  I now need to watch what I eat and when I eat and how much I eat.  Food is going to be a battle all my life....  just different now.  I'm trying to reconcile myself to this fact and it ain't easy McGee.  Now with the holidays here it is double the trouble.

The nutritionist gave me some wonderful pamphlets and information as to why I was having the problems and what to do about it.  I told her I feel like I'm always needing to eat and she said yes, several smaller meals are needed as well as what I eat and when I eat.  No more just catching something as I run out the door....  everything HAS TO BE PLANNED. *^&!#@^

I know I'm out of control when my kitchen is such a mess.  I keep a neat clean kitchen but right now it looks like a .... well, it doesn't look good.  I think when I see the Dr in January I'm going to ask for a few counseling sessions.  I've really been battling some stressful issues and have a tendency to sit back and let life roll over me.

OK  enough about me..  I need to go eat...lol  again....

1st breakfast   1oz pork loin 1/2 apple
2nd breakfast  oatmeal   1/2 apple
snack   handful of nuts
1st lunch  bowl of chili  1/2 cup w/cheese
2nd lunch  bowl of chili 1/2 cup w/cheese
snack  fruit
1st dinner...... OMG  out to dinner at Olive Garden..  
2nd dinner  left overs
snack   yogurt w/ strawberries

Confession Thursday.  I ate 3 slices of american cheese last night after I was done!  My 18 year old is driving me nuts!  Its not a far drive anyway. Today is another day.

Menu:
cuppa ambition
B- 1/2 cup 0% greek yogurt & 1/4 cup Kashi Go Poop
S-Protein Drink
L- Turkey rollup & string cheese
S- Protein drink
S- South Beach Cereal bar
D- 3 oz shrimp & veggies
S-1/2 cup 0% greek yogurt & 1/4 cup Kashi Go Poop

That's my menu and I'm stickin to it.

Linda, there is certain bread that is a trigger for me. It is things like Italian, French or club rolls. I like the crusty stuff and the more butter the better. I mean real butter since that is a comfort food for me. Oh I don't dare have any of that stuff in my house. I would eat nothing but that until is gone. That would be my meals there is no two ways about it.

I haven't ate today and it is 3 in the afternoon. I just am not hungry at all. I am drinking my water so that is a good thing. I made Spanish rice for a funeral dinner (I thought this morning it was lasagna but that is for the family party on Sunday~oh the confusion of old age!) and so I made some for Bill's dinner too. I figured why cook something else if he will eat that. I am just going to find something to eat if I get hungry. It will probably be oatmeal with a banana. I like that. I want to eat some string cheese so bad but I am concerned about the constipation and so I am not eating it. I am hoping that comes to an end and things with that goes back to normal.
