Thanks for your support! I don't care if the snow storm lasts thru Wed, I'm gonna be there. I'm guessing that if the storm gets too bad, we'll probably get out of work early tomorrow which would be great for me to shovel and snow blow my property before I leave for the hospital.

I see you as a very patient lady. Right now I'm just about
jumping thru my skin with excitement. Right before they put me under anesthesia, I'm going to think of all you wonderful friends and how loving and kind you have been to me.....Now, get those butt cheeks moving on that bench cuz I'm a comin'!!

Hi Judy!
Thanks for the well wishes! I have chapstick laying all over the house and 2 in my bag for the hospital. I was talking to my sis earlier on the phone about my post-op routine...she thought she was going to have to cook for me...I explained that I will be up moving frequently often with a "blue streak" following so I can grab my grub as I need it. I'm well stocked cuz my nut said that I'll be leaving the hospital on pureed food. I guess they want dense protein asap. I have everyone's hints in the back of my mind and will follow Doc's orders to the "T". Due to the coming snow storm, my sis won't be here till Wed but I may get to see her before I go into surgery. She has a 4hr drive and they are supposed to get ice besides snow. I'll walk to the hospital if I have to, nothing's going to stop me now! Setting up the neighbor girl to shovel my walks for me the next 4 wks since I'll be limited to 10# wt lifting.

It's been a long journey but the best is yet to come!!
I chickened-out 3 times before deciding to do this. Once I became more informed and knowledgeable on the subject of lap rny it felt right for me. Of course having my pcp tell me that I may not have many more years if I don't have the surgery was always there in my mind to encourage me to seek out an answer. I sat "on the fence" for awhile, was fearful of possible complications but found peace within a few months back. I know this is where I should be right now.
