Whats New Sunday edition!
Etsy is a good start.......are you going to take Revolution Money also? there are no fees on etiher side attached to that.....I can send money at no charge but can also receive at no charge.... can't use on my ebay stuff as you know eBay owns PayPal so that would be competition....
Make sure you always have fun with it....when it becomes a job, then it's time look and see how you can make it fun again......
I can't wait for the grand Etsy opening...

Do tell about the revolution money. Gary is quickly becoming a power seller on e-bay and might need to know about it. Guess I could ask him if he does.....LOL
Thank you, my friend!

I am up early today. Well, not much earlier than any other day though. My great niece Brittany stayed the night and boy what a night too. I am just not use to having a 10 year old in the house. It makes me so appreciate it just being Bill and I. And here is where I smile. ha ha
We went to Walgreen's last night. I was elected to take her. She had some money and had to get a bunch of pencils. Those pencils with the erasers on the top that have pictures on them and are in different shapes. She seems to collect them. There was 6 that she HAD to have but she settled for 4 instead. I know that we spent at least 10 minutes on those dang pencils. Oh do I see myself in her. I do the same thing with some things so I should talk! Then we had to get a little butterfly thing for her teacher. It was very pretty and she did a good job picking that out. She told me that her teacher like butterflies so that is what it is. Then we of course had to get a Welkin's too. They were on sale for 2/$12 so we couldn't spend all our money so she got 1 instead of 2. Smart little shopper if you ask me. Of course I was looking around and found something that I would love to have. I hesitate to tell Bill since most of the time I get what he wants for me to have and not what is on my list. He thinks that I pick out things that are cheap. They are never enough money. I finally told him and think I got through last year (oh do I hope so) that it doesn't matter what the price tag is because if it is something that you want then you want it. I told him that if I wanted something for $2 and he bought me something for $200 I would have been happier with the gift that I wanted. He on the other hand would never ask for something for $2 since I don't think there is ever anything that cheap on his list!!!!
We got the tree up but with some arguing. I was just tired and cranky and I took it out on everyone last night. There is no excuse for it but it happened and I need to do some apologies this morning.
Today is Brittany's first time to acolyte at church. She is so looking forward to it. She has been wanting to do it for a long time and so now is her starting day. Gosh she has grown up so much. She is just a sweetie. But now with her age she is getting the attitude......we all know what that is like too don't we? She is so much like her mother on that one. Autumn had a terrible one and on occasion it still appears. I just wish they would all go a way....don't like those attitudes and never will. I guess though I had one too. We usually see in others what we ourselves have as far as personality traits goes.
Better get to going. I am having to get the shower. I have 3 taking one this morning and not just 2 so I want to get in there before there is no ho****er! My mom and dad raised no fool, as I tell my older sister, they learned with their first born. She never finds the humor in it like others do. Hmmm........wonder why?

I am sending love and hugs to all and special prayers for everyone too. Have a wonderful day and if you are here where it gets cold just remember to stay warm! All of you from warm places keep a loving and kind thought of us in the warmth of your hearts to help us stay warm.
Happy Sunday Debbie and Everyone,
Haven't been around much but woke extra early this morning. Sinuses are playing havoc for me right now.
Went to Disneyland on Friday and had such a good time. It was my 6-month surgiversary and what a difference. It was so nice to be able to do all the walking without pain. I slid around in the seats even! Never done that before. Six months, 50 pounds, and jeans. (Jeans are really a new thing for me.) I'd never seen Disneyland at Christmastime before and it was truly beautiful. A fun day.
Hope to get some packages wrapped today as the tree is pretty but will be prettier with presents 'neath it. Like Janet, I like to do wire ribbon bows and make them gorgeous.
Have a good day each and every one.

I am posting from a hotel where we had my husband's annual Christmas Party. We do this every year and it is pretty fun. Tom is sleeping and I am up early as always visiting you guys.
I wore this cute little black, spaghetti string, form fitting beaded dress and I got it at the thrift store! I have NEVER worn a dress like that before in my life! If I can get the laziness out of me I will post a picture sometime...
Tom is still hurting and still needs to make a follow up appt with his Dr.
We won't be doing any more decorating and may just do the tree. We always have it all done by now but...oh, well...
You all sound so busy and looks like you are all doing fun stuff...I feel like a big lazy butt...
I visit you all every morning and sometime at night...so glad you are all here...
Cheryl

Good Morning Debbie and Friends,
I'm up making "lists" of things that still need to be completed on the house. Little things, but necessary like more weather stripping under the front door (It whistles when the wind blows), carpet at the bottom of the stairs, glass inserts on 4 cupboard doors, trim piece on the side deck, etc, etc, etc. . . .It's time to have all the little things DONE so that we can move on!
We made a quick trip to the west side on Thursday. Spent the night with the twins. They are crawling like they are in a race. Making a beeline to the dog dish, the remote, the phone, the magazines, the computer cord, anything that they set their mind to. Erin has walled off the dining room with pet/kid gates. The dining room is now a giant playroom. At least they can't climb out of there yet and the dogs can't get in. My oh my are they busy girls.
The "reason" for the visit so soon after the last one? As if we ever NEED a reason. Well, Josh, their dad and our son in law, is a high school football coach. His team, the Napavine Tigers, played in the STATE 2B football tournament in Tacoma at the Tacoma Dome on Friday at 4pm. Would you believe they scored the last 16 SECONDS of the game and won!!!!!! It was so much fun. Eileen, if you read this, I'll send you the link if you'd like to listen to the game. (any anyone else interested. The announcers were local guys on the local radio station. They about had heart attacks!) Having spent time in a small town in Montana I'm sure you'll know the joy that whole little town of Napavine (and the entire surrounding area) is experiencing! They had a Christmas parade yesterday at 4pm, the football team and band lead the parade. We dressed the twins in school colors of orange and black. I'll post the pic on my profile page.
Got out and did a bit of shopping yesterday. Think I'll get on the computer today and order most of it. I am so not a mall shopper and so not prepared this year. Did find the twins adorable stockings yesterday, got the tree up, and will work on decorating today. I think I'd rather stay in the house with the fireplace going and a warm drink than fight the crowds. Many of the on line sites have free shipping this year and it arrives at the door so I think that will be what occupies me today.
You all have a nice day doing whatever suites your fancy.

I am kinda fighting all these emotions and trying to stay cool.... this past couple of months has taken a larger toll on me than i realized...
I am really worried about starting the new job tomorrow, although most of it will be just paperwork and orientation etc....
Worried that physically I won't be able to take it... be on my feet for 8 hours or more.. haven't done that in a long time, and with the new knee and weight gain I am worried....
Worried that the new boss will be a jerk... I could sure use a break in this area... I did find out that he is EX Navy, so hopefully he wont hate the Coast Guard

I dunno... just being silly I guess.... but it helps putting the thoughts down in words...
I'm ready... got the shoes, got the new clothes, got all the paperwork (homework) done, got the travel coffee mug out of storage, and the truck is gassed up....
READY!! (gulp!)
Didnt you know that men can endure everything and then some!!!!!! You will do great on the job. It will take a few days to get used to being there but I know you will do just fine.
Anyway I havent posted in a few days. Been busy working and being in a kind of a funk.
I had an MRI on my neck on Wednesday and it took 1 and half hours. Boy was it noisy.
They are looking for Thyroid nodules. On Tuesday I have an abdominal CT.
My sister in Law is giving us grief again. She is accusing my daughter and I and my sister of steeling stuff that she has in the house. See we cleaned up the house when she was in the hospital and now she is snopping around. She isnt supposed to be going upstairs by herself and I know she is doing it. Accused us of taking a 5 carot diamond ring!!!!! A crystal necklace!!!!
her safety deposit key, and other stuff. Well I know she doesnt have a 5 carot diamond ring. The crystal necklace is there in a box in her drawer. Get the picture!!!!! She is nuts!!!!!
Well anyway I am off today. Maybe hit the outlet mall for a while.
Carla.
Thanks for the kind encouragement... I guess i am getting antsy about this job because it is really important to make this one work... All I can do is my best, so we will see!
