Black Friday Shopping
I started at Kohls which opened at 4am. The line was way too long so I left there and went to Pennys. Went in got what was on my list and was out of there by 4:30. Next stop,Circuit City. Got in there got 2 digital cameras for $79 each, 4GB memory cards for 9.99 each and 2 movies for 3.98 each. Left there and went to Target...Got everything I wanted there and went on my merry way. Got home at 8am and jumped back in bed before the rest of the family was home.
Another successful Black Friday shopping day.

Mary,
You know how I am about going to the mailbox.... boy, did I get a shock.
I found the prettiest necklace and have the perfect outfit to wear with it..... Thank you.
And on to Black Friday... I'm broke... thank goodness for credit. I bought two front load washers and dryers today. Sears had them on 1/2 price. Got Kenmore 3.6 capacity washer and dryer for $559.00... and they'll deliver and install. Couldn't pass the deal up. Bought one for my son and went back and got another one.
Then on to Williams Sonoma... be still my heart. I'm obsessive compulsive about some things... and I love their spiced pecan pumpkin pancake and waffle mix... my kids and grandkids love it... reduced from $14.95 to $6.99. I bought SIX to give for gifts.
Couldn't find what I wanted at Penney's so came home and looked it up on the internet... yep, discontinued and can't find it. Will see now if I can find it at the mfg... there may be an outlet in Dallas.
Went to Walmart. Found two movies for $2 each and a Wii game for my grandson... $48!!!
I've got to make a list of what I've bought. I am shopping on impulse and I know I've gone way overboard. The good news is...I won a $700 Visa Gift Card at work that has to be used by 12/31... ain't THAT a crying shame?....:) It's buying my Christmas... oh, well, a few things for me...:)
Not sure what else I want to shop for. I think the next order of business is to get my house clean...get my clothes ready for work on Monday... and try to get a couple of days of rest before i start the 'grind' again.
Looks like you really found some good Black Friday bargains.

My daughter's and I were at the Millineum Mall in Orlando at 9 a.m., first hit Starbucks and then set foot in at least a dozen stores until lunchtime, after which we went on to the outlets and shopped some more, oh, and then on the way home we stopped in Kohls where we picked up a few more things. It was my first such "black Friday" shopping spree and I must say we had a fun Mother/Daughter day. Not once did I lag behind, nor did I have any of the back or joint pain I used to be subject to, what a joy life can be.
Hugs, Laureen

Hi Mary,
My daughter and I also hit our first Black Friday Shopping. We had a great mother/daughter day. We stood in line outside of Mennards from 5-6am when they opened and about froze but it will be a good memory some day. We did get everything we went for even though we split up to get the best deals and when I found her she could hardly hold everything she had gotten and she was standing in place just waiting for me to show up. We got four huge doggie beds they were 9.99 buy one get one free! Since I have a ton of dogs here that was our favorite buy! I was after the MP3 player for 10.00 for my grand daughter. I was so thrilled to find them I bought 2. lol Have some impulse buying going on too.
Worst yet we have a new toy poodle puppy today too!!
Oh well when will we learn.
I hope my oldest daughter will join us next year.
