Hello and Happy Wednesday to everyone!!
Do you people ever sleep  LOL

I'm at work so just a quick hello. Congrats Margo on the hours!!!! I know that takes some of your load off your little shoulders

Hope you have a great Turkey Day tomorrow! I'm expecting a nice quiet day with hubby. Maybe his brother and sister in law for lunch but not sure yet. Even if they come, they only stay a short time as they have her family to get to also.

HUGS to ALL!!!

Good Morning Margo and all!
Margo, I am so glad you are getting more hours! Of course they will not hire you full time because then they would have to pay you benifits!  From my understanding most places will keep people working part time just for that reason, or replace a full time employee that leaves with 2 part timers.  One of my friends just got let go from her job that she has been at for some years - car dealer, all because of the economy!
It was highly suggested at the hospital that non clinical people take 3 days off around the holidays, day before, holiday and day after.  Gives me a 5 day weekend.  I hadn't planned on that just a 4 dayer, but needs must.  I don't do direct patient care any more and (am thankful for that-its HARD work!) the computer issues can generally just wait unless it is something major, and they probably would not call me in anyway since I don't deal with the hardware side of things.  Today my dad and Gary are coming over here at 1pm and we will take all the crap/scrap from bathroom re model etc to the recycle place in Wauseon.  I do need to run to the bank to get some cash to pay them with.  I have a sofa that smells like cat pee, box springs and all the stuff from the bathroom, so it should be a good sized load.  I will be glad to get rid of it all I can tell you!
The kittens are still pretty leery of me and very skittish, especially the black one.  I have been able to hold her once, the gray and white one (when I can catch them that is) I have held a few times.  I know it will take time.  I just hope that someday they will actually let me hold them!
Hope you all have a great day!

Okay, I've got to start reading this when I first get up...or when I'm up in the middle of the night!

Anyway, Good afternoon everybody. Sounds like you all have good things going on right now. Margo and more hours, which is great right now.

George with #200 of dog in the house, 2 years ago we had #170, but it was all in one dog!

We will be going to my sisters house tomorrow. I guess she got a big turkey roll for dinner. I'll make green bean casserole, dressing, deviled eggs and pecan pie! Somehow my nephew (who's 26 now) thinks I make the best green bean casserole. I don't know what she does different, but its just not right! We were in Texas last year for Thanksgiving, and I guess me p@%sed & moaned about it all day.

Today I go to the doctor for my LAST 6 month diet appointment. I called the surgeon's office yesterday to make sure they had gotten the other records. They had and I was in the stack that just needs this months before they submit it all to the insurance co! That's one thing I'm SO thankful for.

And of course I'm thankful for all of you. I'm sure I'll be needing everyones help in the months that follow.

Hi Margo and all,
Margo I am so glad you got somemore hours. You deserve it.
I am so mad today, not only did I have a jerk for a client, That started it off. I went to the Dr about my thyroid scan, Now I have 2 nodules and the first one isnt even showing where the first scan said it was. Now I have one on the left lobe and in the parathyroid. So now off to the ENT again. I am just going to have her remove them!!!!!
I also go for a CT of the abdoman and going to g and see a new bariatric surgeon in Hollywood Fl. Ill give it one more try.
If that doesnt work out Im going to Denver!!!!!
My daughter and her boyfriend are comming in the morning. We have to go to Tampa to pick them up at the airport at 1:30pm.
Then we are going to a restaurant to eat Thanksgiving.
So Happy cooking for the ones that are cooking.
