Well I got home Sunday too after having my band on Wed.  Did not have a great hospital experience and the surgeon had some trouble getting the band in due to adhesions from old usrgeries but I am home now and doing okay.   And so it begins...  Eydie

Yes, Eydie,  And so it begins.

The wonderful new life.  Filled with ups and downs and many changes.  What a wonderful way to begin the rest of your life.  I never dreamed I would experience the things I have in the past 8 months.  It has been an amazing new lifestyle.   Enjoy your ride... and welcome to the losers bench.  Millie

Eydie - I hate to hear that you did not have a good hospital experience... was it the nurses or just the extra trouble that it took to get your band in place??  I am sure you are more sore than I was.
Glad you are home and doing okay now... And yep - your new life as a bandster begins.... Congratulations!

Thanks Sheila.  It's so different up here in Alberta, with the public health system the care is no where near as good or as complete as it should be, but I am doing well so far and am eating a little pudding right now so things are good.  My own doctor helped me sort out some of the medication issues etc, today so I feel better about it all .
Hope all is still going well with you.  Love Eydie
