SURGERY OVER AND HOME AGAIN.....

Surgery Nov. 19th....went great....released on Nov. 22nd.....stayed over one night at the Motel and left for home Sunday Nov. 23rd. Awesome care, surgeon and his Physician's asst.came to see me every morning and afternoon. I go back to Bismarck to see him Dec. 4th for 2 week check. I am having no problems whatsoever and am tolerating the clear liquids well. So good to be back home to my own recliner and bed!! I'm doing every thing I am supposed to be doing so all should go well. I have no pain at all but very very tired. Hey, this old body is 66 years old and there is still those aches and pains but no pain from the actual RNY. When I feel better, I'll sit down at the PC and see what's been happening on OH.com while I've been away. Thanks for your prayers and well wishes.

RNY on 11/19/08

Millie....when I said NO PAIN....that means NO PAIN MEDS either. I had one Demerol pill the day I left the hospital but no narcotics. I am so thankful . Today I took a Tylenol for a headache. Just sipping, sipping and walking around my house as instructed. I have had 6 cups of fluids already and it is only 1:30 PM I can't believe how good I am doing. Except for being real tired I think I'm doing great!! Thanks for the welcome home and good wishes.
