To date, I have lost 94 lbs. I would like to lose another 20 and I will be pleased. I am very pleased with my weight loss to date.

What are you paying for a gallon of gas , a gallon of 1% milk, a lb. of bananas this week ? 1.99 fpr gas. 2.50 for milk, and bananas are .59 a pound

If you lost as much as you hoped/planned/ wished for ? I have lost 71 lbs and still losing and hoping for more.
If you are pre op have you had to or did you lose any in preparation ?
Are you married, single, divorced, widowed, seeing someone ? I am married to a wonderful man.
Do you have children ? if so - how many, how old ? Two children. My daughter will be 31 next month and the Mother of my 3 y/o grandson. My son is 27 and the Father of two beautiful children.
Do you have pets? if so- how many, how old ? I have two **** Zus, Harley age 5, Charlie age 4.
Do you work outside your home , retired , in between ? I am retired.
What kind of job do/did you have ? I was a Medical Assistant working with different docs, helping with procedures.
What's you favorite type of music, movies, books? I like Country music, chick flicks and non-fiction.
What do you enjoy in your free time ? Traveling. Camping. Visiting family.
Do you live in the same community you were born, raised in ? No, I was born and raised in KY, lived there until I was 48.
What part of the U.S are you in now ? ( just city and state ) Littleton, Colorado.
What are you paying for a gallon of gas , a gallon of 1% milk, a lb. of bananas this week ? My DH does all the shopping, so I truly don't know the prices.
Got a favorite flower, color, flavor, scent ? Favorite color is red, favorite scent is lilac or gardenias and my flavors have changed since surgery.

I just saw Dr T and everyone last Friday! I read where you had tried a doc in Florida but it didn't work out. Sorry, Carla. I guess Dr. T is hard to beat?
I think I told you that we took the trailer all the way to Indy and stayed until our new grandson arrived on 10/29? Anyways, I thought of you all the way across Kansas and the problems that you had with yours. I was worried for sure! Three weeks was getting to be a little long with the two pooches. So, I guess I can wait until spring.
Maybe we can meet up if you make it close to Littleton? The weather is great here now, mid 60s!

No...I keep having a last meal
If you are pre op have you had to or did you lose any in preparation ? I will be on a 2 week diet from the surgeon to lose fat around the liver.

No children for me, or him either...just didn't happen, but I'm a great Aunt

Well, I'm on disability due to COPD and fibromyalgia. But I still do family and friends hair in the basement.

Music is a wide range, from Etta James to Enya. Movies, I like the chick flicks, and the mystery shows. Books, Sandra Brown is my favorite.

Watch tv, scrapbook, play with the dogs, mess around on here.

Yes, My dd Melissa is 28 married to Jeremy who gave me grandbabies, Aubreeana 4 and Josiah 5 months!
And my ds is Adam, 23 yo....single, no grandbabies yet from him!!!

We have a bichon poodle mix who's 13 named Buffy, an aussie heeler mix who is 11 named Reba and a **** zu who is 1 named Jazmine.....all rescues!
Do you work outside your home , retired , in between ?
I currently work as program director for an inpatient residential treatment facility for pregnant and postpartum women who have substance abuse diagnoses as well as mental health diagnoses. I was just filling in till they hired a full time director (took em 9 months) and 12/1 I go back to my normal job of being a nurse in a detox unit.
What kind of job do/did you have ? I'm also retired from the US Army (22 years)
What's you favorite type of music, movies, books?
Mostly contemporary christian music, classic rock and some country. Mostly comedies for movies, but also like adventures and sci fi. I like to read medical mysteries.
What do you enjoy in your free time ?
What is that? I do enjoy gardening, building things (did a 12x12 green house 2 summers ago, play with the dogs and the grands and love to hike.
Do you live in the same community you were born, raised in ? No, I was born in Michigan, my Dad was in the Marine Corps and so we moved....a lot and then I joined the Army and continued the tradition.
What part of the U.S are you in now ? ( just city and state )Currently Fairbanks Alaska (yes, it's cold.......about 25 below zero tonight) but when the house sells
, I'll be heading back to Arizona where my dh awaits..........What are you paying for a gallon of gas , a gallon of 1% milk, a lb. of bananas this week ? hmmm, gas is still 2.79 a gallon (had gotten up to 4.55 before it started coming down), bananas are about .69c at the commissary and a gallon of skim milk is about 3.29.
Got a favorite flower, color, flavor, scent ?My favorite flowers are peonies and hydrangeas, I love greens and yellows and my favorite smell is butter cookie and along with Marc....the smell of wood, especially cut wood. My favorite flavors for food is anything mexican but not too spicy, and also as my dh would say, if it's not chocolate, it's not worth the calories!!!!
