If you lost as much as you hoped/planned/ wished for ? My goal was to lose 140 lbs. I have lost 155. Now the hard part is I have to keep eating to maintain.
If you are pre op have you had to or did you lose any in preparation ?
Are you married, single, divorced, widowed, seeing someone ? Married for 34 wonderful years.
Do you have children ? if so - how many, how old ? Two children. Penny 33 years old and Brad 31 years old. Six wonderful grandchildren. Brad Edward (Eddie) (11), Jana Nicole (7), Alexander Montgomery (Alex) (4), Ava Lorraine (4 - four days younger than Alex), Eryn Cheyenne (2) and Jaret Kyle (2 weeks).
Do you have pets? if so- how many, how old ?2 dogs. Flyte 6 year old greyhound and Skipper 6 year old dachshund. Also wife recently got a parakeet and a betta.
Do you work outside your home , retired , in between ? Yes, yes. I work a part time and a full time job, plus I am retired Air Force.
What kind of job do/did you have ? My part time job I manage a telemarketing room that asks for donations for civic organizations. Full time I am a lead agent in Customer Service overnight.
What's you favorite type of music, movies, books?
Music - 70's (especially 70's on 7 on XM)
Movies - Anything except horror or documentary
Books - Mysteries. James Patterson, John Grisham, Sue Grafton, Robert Parker
What do you enjoy in your free time ? BASEBALL!!!. Also love to watch TV and play internet poker (no money involved).
Do you live in the same community you were born, raised in ? No where near. Born in Amityville, NY - yes that Amityville.

I have lost 123 total. 47 before surgery and 76 after . I kind of at a stall I hope I do lose at least 25 more.
Married 3 times......1st 4 years then widowed, 2nd 13 years and divorced and the 3rd and last one will be 8 years in Dec.
I have one son (from 2nd marriage) He is 21 still at home
I have a black lab named Shadow ....... She's not a year old yet. I hope she makes it.
She's in the destructive stage.
Yes, I work outside the home.
I work at a plant that makes capsules, we send them to pharmaceutical companies and they fill them. I work for a division of Pfizer. I operate the machines that make the capsules.
I love the 60's 70's & 80's music. I like all kinds. Movies.... Comedies, Adventure, suspense, I even like horor movies.
I'm usually on OH in my spare time. I like to bake, enjoy time with family and friends. In the summer I like to go to Drag Races. The need for speed.
I live about 15 or 20 mins. from where I was raised.
I live in Waterloo, South Carolina. It's in the upper part of the state. About 4hours from Myrtle Beach.
Gas price $1.77 Milk not sure I usually buy 1/2 gal. banana not sure on that either.
My favorite colors are red, navy blue and dark pink. Flavor: chocolate and I like all flowers no favorite.

If you're pre op - when are you expecting or hoping yours will be ? Hoping for a revision in February 2009
If you lost as much as you hoped/planned/ wished for ? I lost about 177 lbs and then stopped. Been "playing" with the same 20 lbs for over 3 years. Found out my stoma had stretched from 8 to 22!!
Are you married, single, divorced, widowed, seeing someone ? Single by choice. Divorced twice.
Do you have children ? if so - how many, how old ? One son, 34 and about to move back home....again.
Do you have pets? if so- how many, how old ? None.
Do you work outside your home , retired , in between ? I have two jobs.
What kind of job do/did you have ? I work for the US Army as a Travel Specialist to pay the mortgage and I work in professional theatre as a properties designer to keep my sanity.
What's you favorite type of music, movies, books? Music: classic rock and roll (and actually about anything but angry rap); Movies: comedies and romance and action....not too much into scarry; Books: Don't read much.
What do you enjoy in your free time ? Free time????

What are you paying for a gallon of gas , a gallon of 1% milk, a lb. of bananas this week ? Gas here this morning is $1.63; I don't drink milk and am alergic to bananas.
Got a favorite flower, color, flavor, scent ? I love all flowers, they are one of G-d's many miracles; Color??? I love rainbows..always have; Most scents give me a headache...I guess cinnamon.

If you lost as much as you hoped/planned/ wished for ? not yet... only a little over 2 months out, but have lost 40 lbs so far!
Are you married, single, divorced, widowed, seeing someone? married several times, but this is the last time! Married the love of my life, my best friend and soul mate 5 yrs ago.

I work fulltime as a platelet pheresis nurse for a very large national company.

I draw platelets from donors which are used mostly for cancer patients.

rock, all classic rock beginning 60's...mystery, comedy, suspense movies.....how-to books
What do you enjoy in your free time ?
decorating, home repair, gardening, landscaping

If you lost as much as you hoped/planned/ wished for ? yup! lost 100% of my excess weight
If you are pre op have you had to or did you lose any in preparation ? I had to do a 4-week Liver Shrinkage Diet

Do you work outside your home , retired , in between ? I've worked part-time at home as a product design consultant (decorative home accessories) for overseas manufacturers for 5 years, but just lost my last client, so now I'm in the process of becoming a substitute teacher

What's you favorite type of music, movies, books? I like rock music and I read a lot of mysteries/suspense. My favorite movie is A Fish Called Wanda.

What are you paying for a gallon of gas , a gallon of 1% milk, a lb. of bananas this week ? Gas was $2.09/gal last time I filled my tank. Can't remember the price of milk or bananas.
Got a favorite flower, color, flavor, scent ? My favorite flower is the Jacob's Coat rose my husband gave me for our anniversary a few years ago (it's yellow with coral edges). Favorite color - aqua. Favorite flavor - chocolate. Favorite scent - honeysuckle.

gas last i saw was $1.67 gal, gallon milk was $2.69 i think and bananas about 59 cents lb i can't eat them anymore because they make me pass stinky farts...:( (hahaha)
