IT'S SATURDAY......WHAT'S NEW????
Good morning Janet and everyone!
BRRRR is all I can say. Of course the furnace isn't helping keep anything warm at all! I don't have any big news. Taking the dogs to the vet this morning and will help set up at the event (conveniently at the same place) then need to stop at Michaels, WalMart and a few other stops along the way. I definately will be calling the furnace repair shop to come fix the goofy thing SOON! Having to run out to the colder garage and turning off the power and turning it back on again is no fun. The kittens are still hiding from me. They did eat the canned food I set out last night and deposited a present. (another reason I always feed dry food to cats) but will not come out yet at all, patience will be the operative word here. Once they get comfortable enough to come out then we'll work on socializing a bit more. They are only about 12 weeks old and as I said had no human contact until about 4-6 weeks ago, so it will take time. That's my story and I'm sticking to it! Have a great Saturday all!

Good morning Janet and all you other OFFers.
Strange day for me today. First, I had to go to bed early because I have to be at work at 8AM. Haven't done that in a month or so. I will get home about 1:30 and have to be at full time job at 8PM, so will have to get some sleep this afternoon. But, you gotta do what you gotta do when it comes to finding overtime to work. Gonna have to do the same thing next weekend.

The much anticipated Saint Bella labels will be here today, but not without more drama. Thursday the printer told me they MIGHT be able to ship by Friday so I asked about overnight postage. Without the final weight he couldn't tell me, so I asked if once they packaged everything up would he please call me with the options. At this point I'm ready to sell my soul to get these damn things, so it really didn't matter how much it cost, I just wanted to know to make sure there was enough money in my account to cover it.
So, he calls yesterday, $94 for overnight. I was willing to pay up to $100, so I said ok. Then I asked for a final total on the whole job, again to make sure I didn't have to run home and do a transfer. He said the manager has sent the totals to my e-mail.....well fine.....I don't have access to the internet at the salon, couldn't he just ASK someone??? He did, came back and said the total, with shipping was $1720.19!
I panicked 
My client said all the color drained from my face. Thought I was going to vomit, especially since the original estimate was only $750.. Poor guy, realizing my distress called the bookkeeping dept. It seems he has had an ear infection for three weeks and isn't hearing well. The true and actual total was $720.19.
I must be losing what ever part of my mind I had left. This is gonna kill me! Hopefully today will be a little calmer, just going into work and coming home. Whew!!

morning! i'm going to post to both threads!
today is plasma day and we will go to my sons- to pack dishes and things to help in his move- and he is giving us about 22 large patio pavers for our front yard..michael will attempt to dig them out-the ground is starting to freeze here....
our bed was dry this morning! yea!!!! roxie was maybe marking territory?? i dunno--anyhow i am so excited to report dry bed!
due to being up since 430 yesterday am and not having all of the email addresses i needed at 10 pm last nite- the ornament exchange info is getting out more slowly than i expected! but it will be done by tomorrow nite tops! watch your emails for mammak_54 @ a place that starts with y

Being one to be able to take it if I can di**** out... here's the "poop". I need to drink more water...or there won't be any....
I've not slept more than 2-3 hours at a time for so long and I'm getting that worn-out feeling again. I do have a prescription for Ambien at the pharmacy. Guess I'll have to get it and take it... will do that and get some sleep BEFORE I need to go back to work.
My house is a wreck.... surprise!! My car needs washing...surprise!! I need to go to the mailbox... surprise!!! Okay, that's about all the surprises I can handle today.
Am thinking I'm going to the Rise n Shine today to see my Texas Message Board peeps. My fav's will be there...and I know Paul and Susan will want to go shopping with me... I have a 'look' I'm trying to achieve for my entry back to work..now to see if I can find it and it looks okay on me.
Other than that, nothing much planned for the day.

But if I could find a mix of Joe M, Michael M, Randy M, Jim F, and Steven S, I'd be in great shape...
Let's see, Joe for the money, Michael M for the ... Randy M for the excitement and fun, Jim for the world I never knew existed, and Steven for the bad boy side of life...(an old rocker)....
Now, I just want to be left alone... I prayed for God to either find someone for my life or get the desire to have someone in life away from me. He did the latter. I have no desire for a man in my life anymore...
But memories are just that ...Memories... ah, Lombard Street...corporate jet, corvette, yada yada...and loved fat gals.
