 chuckling.....  Al clad is a good brand of cookware....  it does look good in the cabinet  BUT  how can you hand down "nice looking" cookware?  You gotta use it to death..  then they can say "oh, I want Janets cookware, it doesn't look like much but it sure was used and loved"   you know those things that our mothers, aunts and grammas used all the time?

My kids are already asking for some of my Mom's stuff....  

Enjoy those pans... they are good work horses in the kitchen.

When Candy was here I had a huge box of Revereware in my dining area I was taking to Goodwill. She picked the small pans and took them home. I had some in there I had for years that probably hadn't been cooked in more than two or three times.  My kids have all gotten Saladmaster or some other good stuff.  I doubt they'll want mine. 

The only keepsakes around here in the kitchen are some things from my grandmother. Now those are sacred.

It's Denise in Alaska........still waiting......I think parcel post comes by dog sled........it's only 25 below tonight so the postman might've froze somewhere along the line!!!

I just had the mail center run a check on the box.  The gal just called back and said it was delivered yesterday.  Hopefully it was after your post.  If it didn't get there to your house please let me know.    I don't think it went by way of a dog sled.  No, couldn't have.  Dog sleds are faster than the post office.    Let me know...  and I hope you enjoy the box.    Millie
