What's New Thursday?

Annette, that was my thought last evening too!  It appears I have to have the furnace man out again.  The temp was 61 in here when I got home.  uh oh! 

debbie i am rolling here with laughter at your warm clothes!!!! my mom dresses like a bag lady in the winter!!! omg you should see her outfit for bed!!!! LMAOOOOOOOO she wears her nightshirt covered with a flannel shirt, flannel pj bottoms, socks and slippers and sometimes even more clothes!!! i swear i am gonna take her picture if i can catch her like that and will post it if i get one!!! LOL she really does look like a street woman trying to keep warm!!!! rofl....(she DOES have warm pj's but she is "saving" them incase she needs to go to hospital or something...why she does this i have no idea because when its time for her to go to hospital they are all rotted from sitting!!! i know because its happened before from ones she "saved" before!!!) gotta love it!!!

Judy, people in our parents age group and older ALWAYS had night clothes to go to the hospital in - if needed!  Me?  I use things up in the here and now. 

Good morning all.  I am colder than some of you, warmer than others!  Today we have to go to the base to pick up RX refills and then to the Commissary for Thanksgiving dinner supplies.  Want to get everything before the rush next week.  May swing into WalMart on the way back if some of the stuff I need is cheaper there (I got their ad yesterday and I have coupons for lots of the stuff).  Usually I won't spend the gas to go to 2 places, but I have to pass WalMart on the way home.  I am taking the DH so I know we will spend about twice what we should.  He ALWAYS finds things we 'have to have'.

I'll also continue on my crochet.  I am using up all my odds and ends of yarn and making winter scarves.  Not sure who for, but it keeps my hands busy.  And our son will be here for lunch, and the grandsons will be here for their after school snacks, too.

well we have another huge winter storm coming....right now its 38 and wind chill is 29...not to bad YET. calling for 2-4 inches today, 4-6 tonight and 3-5 tomorrow with thunder possible!!! have a lake effect snow warning til tomorrow afternoon. some areas could see 1-2 feet of this white crap!!!! belive it when i see it!!!

well i got my cookies made yesterday now today i frost them all....rick said his mom can help me...i said NO!!! i do not want to spend all afternoon with her telling me all her money troubles!!!! plus last night she called rick telling him how sassy (his cat) is crying and jumping the gate and coming upstairs and the dog and her cats all fighting with her...he needs to get her out of there or put her to sleep she said!!! she knows we can't have her here and now rick is hell bent on sneaking her in here!!!!!! he is so upset over this he about cried last night...sassy is an old cat and is just lonesome for soem attention...she is down the basement all alone and i can see why she is lonely!!!! that house is a nut house if you ask me!!!! so iguess we chance it with sneaking her in here tonight...we have mandatory inspection today so we have to wait til tonight.

last night we got the bed frame set up and the bed put onit...omg being about 6 inches higher is sigher than we thought!!! LOL when we went to get out of bed this morning we about fell!!! not used to this extra height!!! LOL bandit has a hard time getting up there also....but he makes it.

rick talked to his buddy john last night on the phone and i heard him telling john about how much he loves me...awwww he was also telling him about my bean soup that i made...said it was awesome!!! wow!! he really did like it!!! he also mentioned my cookies...lol said i made enough for an army...lol there is about 7 dozen is all...geez lol

erie is coming over tonight after he gets out of work so he can try once again to get my pc online. i did get road runner to work on ricks pc but it takes forever to load and see the mail and also send it out...it sucks!!! but if erie can't get it to work this time we will hook up my tower to his monitor. so that should remedy the situation for me...i hope!!!

today is my 3rd day off from work...i am getting paid for today tho because of my birthday tomorrow. i work the early shift tomorrow and then we will be going out to dinner to celebrate it...haven't gone out to celebrate my birthday in years with a guy....used to be with my mom and sister...i can't wait!!! rick treats me like a queen and shows his love freely to me...i am so blessed to have him!!! its not all roses here we do have some fights...wouldn't be normal if we didn't fight once in awhile...lol the making up is the best....;)

got my divorce papers yesterday in the mail...its official now i am divorced from gary!!!! YIPPEEEE!!!!!!! one part i didn't like that is in there is my having to pay 1/2 of HIS credit card bills!!! but with me living out of state they can't make me pay my lawyer said...so another reason i will never go back to michigan to live!!!! the house is to be sold and if there is any profit it is to be split...hahahaha i get half if there is anything left over...i don't see it happening tho...not with lori in charge!!!!

well not much else happening here so i will shut the trap for now and get busy frosting my cookies...have a great day and rememebr to "SMILE!!! IT MAKES PEOPLE WONDER WHAT YOU'VE BEEN UP TOO!!!!"

Hi Eileen & everyone.
 Sorry I haven't been on in a while. We have been in N. Carolina since last Tuesday. I get to see my son & his 4
girls.
   It was supposed to be warm here
but it's not! I guess we have a lot of snow at home. I am not looking foreward to that!
  We were supposed to leave today, but our son asked us to stay another day.
   Morgan & her dad go to NY for her next treatment on Sunday. They will be there just over a week. He said they get to see the Macy's parade.
   So far things are looking great for her. I just pray that keeps up.Well we don't have great internet service here so I best go.Have a wonderful day!!!

Nan.....I will keep Morgan in my prayers that all goes well for her in NY.
Nic goes there in January to see if he is eligible for the treatments yet....we pray he can this time!! He is having a rough time with chemo this week...really tired and feeling yuck!

Connie thank you. I pray that Nic is a candidate for the 3f8. It has done wonders for Morgan! How are you holding up?
It is hard to be a grandparent & watch our kids go through this with their's. When in January do they go? My Jamie & Morgan may be there too. If she doesn't hamma again.

Hi everyone

I am sitting at the airport waiting to fly to Atlanta to stay with my mom for a couple of weeks.  The food truck is loading the plane.  Seems like and awful large vehicle for peanuts and sodas.

The news is on and its all bad.  From the DOW to the unemployment rate.  Well they just changed our gate..... got to go.... more when I'm settled at the new gate if I have time
