It's Wednesday!!!! What's new on your side of the computer?
I can't believe it has gone this long and the thread has not been started. Wow! Everyone must be busy or sleeping. I would be the busy one. Computer problems tonight. What would normally take me one hour to do, I have been working on for 5 hours and it still is not done. I am just gonna keep it for tonight, hopefully the computer will be nicer.

today i am sposed to go to a DAR function after i get off work at noon--i am really not sure this morning- i did not sleep at all last nite- -well- maybe 10 minutes here and 15 mnutes there- i DID get my cookies baked and tehy are in a bowl to take and some papers run off the computer and my gf can pick them up from me at 9 am at work- soooo...
got a call from my youngest son-his dad"s ( that would be my ex) wife 's father died yesterday...he has been very sick for a long time and died in his wife's arms...but-danny ( the ex) and mary (his wife) are in cozumel so they are flying home today --mary is a nurse and part of why they moved in with mamma and daddy was to take care of him--but the cruise was something paid for a long time ago--anyhow- it was a blessing but timing stinks- i am sure mary is going to have issues dealing with not being here.....so a prayer for all please....
work is work and i am so grateful...however i really hate it.....
michael is freecycling and some is great stuff but some- OMG--i cannot believe some of the stuff he is bringing home- and he is after me to get rid of stuff!!! ok- there i had to get that out!!! nope- don't feel any better about my junk.....
well- need to get dressed and gorgeous for work--after not sleeping all nite i truly would love to snuggle under he covers- janet that means alone to sleep and all warm and cozy at my house!!!however- i must go to work!!

it's 25* here and looks dry - there was bad ice on the roads yesterday AM- don't think we'll have that issue today....

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Good Morning George and Friends,
It's a chilly one (33) here today.... high of 38 expected with
a wind advisory of course. There's been snow flurries overnight with hardly anything on the ground so far . Brrrrrrrrr. I'm not looking forward to walking today, it'll be scarves and mittens for sure.
I have a full day ahead planned. I have a board meeting at 10 and then at 1pm we have a garden club function - called garden therapy - a group go to a local nursing home once a month to
do crafts type things. So with luck I'll get home before John.
Then I have the good luck to have a whole day at home tomorrow... which I hope to get some things accomplished
like ironing and rehanging the curtains from the living room
that I washed on Sunday...I did manage to get the 4 windows washed inside & out yesterday - of course the next sunny day
we have I'll be able to see all the places I missed or the
streaks I left...lol. Thank god our new windows are the kind
I can tilt inward and clean both sides from inside, no
ladders etc.
On Friday it's Tea & Music at the Museum so I'll be there
all afternoon. In between which I've been knitting almost
a hat a day for the library's bazaar on Dec 14. (on a knifty knitter).
Well I'd better step away from the puter....

Good Morning George and my OFF family,
I know I have been MIA for a few days. Got a lot going on here so I pop in a read, but no time to post.
Forgive me if I am repeating myself, I am the medical POA for my mom who is 80. She had been a smoker for 64 years and the dr has found a spot on her rught lung that does not look good. Sent us straight to oncologist. Doing more testing to get a diagnosis. PET scan is scheduled for next Tues. Then my never been married, 12 years younger and only brother who works as a boilermaker and home bases out of moms called and says that he may have a big medical problem. He will be home tomorrow and would I make him appt to see specialist. So guess who will end up taking care of him too!! I really have a lot on my plate right now so while I know you are sending up pray for mom please add my brother ane me!!!

My prayers are with you on family medical stuff. We are dealing with that too.
Well i went to see the bariatric surgeon here in Sarasota. Can i say what a jerk he is. No personallity. i did not like him at all. his other pts on the Florida rave about him.
he says my abdominal pain is in my head...... anyway he ordered a ct scan for Monday. i am going to go and get it and make sure i send the results to my doc in Denver....So if i have to ill go to denver and get this takencare of.
Well off to work.
