What we are eating and what's eating us Wednesday
I am up,but runnining is not an option.I ,my eating is better. I wonder sometimes if my appetite is back. I sometimes think, maybe this feels more normal, some days, you are more hungry then other times...not that I consider my self normal...LOL.
I have the body of 16 year old...but she wants it back...

I have worked the night shift this week and am so far behind in posts . My plan today is to catch up with everyone. I am babysitting Mattie - who is 20 months old. She is such a joy and such a good girl. I am only a little bit biased....
Today I am working on getting in my water - I have been slack - when I work nights, I sleep all day and then work is so hectic it is hard to take care of me. How dare those patients come into the ER???? LOL
My daughter, Lori said she had made a turkey meatloaf, so I will have some of that - cheese stick and yogurt (one of my everyday foods) and who knows what else. She said she has plenty of things available for me, so I didn't pack anything.
Everyone have a great day and do something that you love to do...
Shelia

Good morning, Linda (and everyone else). No running for you anyway until you get steadier on your feet. I'm sticking to my elliptical still. I refuse to go to the gym at 5 AM when it is this cold. How do you folks in the 'cold country' manage to get out of the house on these cold days? I know - I did it for quite awhile when I HAD to, but now I have a choice!
Breakfast: EAS drink warmed up
Snack (right now), soy chips with shredded cheddar
Lunch - green salad with tuna and HB egg (not much green, mostly tuna and egg)
Dinner - mashed turnips and who knows what else
Don't give that 16-yr-old her body back - you need it more than she does!
I went to a meeting of my writer's group last night. Our hostess served huge chunks of apple cake with vanilla ice cream on top. I did pretty well - I had 2 bites of cake and all the ice cream - but our hostess kept giving me funny looks, as if she was worried that I didn't like it (everybody else hoovered down their entire serving). Well, I can't worry about that too much. I did compliment her on the dessert and thanked her for her hospitality, like the polite girl my mom raised me to be.
