Ok, Judy, Katherine is not dead. Marge is. Do you remember many years ago when Katherine was kidnapped? Marge was the waitress that the kidnappers paid to take Katherine's place because she could be her twin. Marge helped Katherine to escape when she realized exactly what was going on. Katherine and she became friends (sort of) anyway Marge had a drinking problem and Katherine was trying to help her by paying for a rehab for Marge. She and Marge were in a wreck on the way there (it was raining). Katherine was either thrown clear or got out and tried to find help so she was not in the car when Jill and Nikki found it. Everyone thinks Katherine is dead, but she is actually with Marge's friend Murphy who found her by the stream/river while he was fishing. She is very confused right now. So there you have it. You know you can go to CBS.com and read a synopsis of each day's episode and previous episodes and catch up.

sorry for the confusion!!! i watched Y&R for years and now that i am working i miss most of it and i have no clue whats happening...i can't get my vcr to work since the move here...grrrr i can't go online to watch it because this pc is so old it takes forever to load it.....so i have to depend on the ones here to fill me in....sighs
