today is work and then cookie baking for tomorrow's DAR event. we are turning our Chapter Meeting House into a museum and so we are having a VIP Day- Ribbon Cutting, etc.... will be fun!
i slept well...would love to still be snuggled under those covers tho....

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Morning everyone,
We have so much sad going on around my area. Funeral for a young man (44) who has been paralyzed for 10 years after a car accident. He lived w/his parents who were super dedicated to his care. He got his wish......release of pain and suffering!
A young lady from a neighboring community decided she did not want to live and she hung herself. Her brother found her, cut her down and gave her CPR.....today is her birthday, she is in Rochester MN in ICU, if you are so inclined, please pray for her, she is 15 today.
Another young lady is in a hospital in Iowa City, she is suffering from anorexia. My daughter used to babysit for this family. She and her family could use prayers also.
So, being inundated with all of this, plus the news on TV I am having a hard time being "up" these days. Will be going to a friends home tonight to pick up my featherweight sewing machine and visiting. Should be a fun time.
Sorry to be a "Debbie downer", just had to "spew".....hugs to all of you.....Vickie
