I am finally at home. My surgery was Nov 6 and I came home feeling awful on the 8th, I lasted about 13 hours and had to call 911. Needless to say I was readmitted. My problem was not with the RNY  but pnuemonia. It threw me for a loop. I am feeling much better now. I am on a stage two diet and so happy to be eating something.I gained 13 pounds of fluid in the hospital but as of this morning it was gone with an extra two pounds to boot. I am thrilled. I am still very sore and healing but I am ready for my new life and feeling good. Thanks to everyone for your prayers and kind thoughts. It is great to be on the losers bench.

Hi, glad to hear you are finally home and on the mend.....how awful to get pneumonia when you're trying to recover from WLS.   Anyway, the best of wishes to you for a smoother recovery now that you're home.

I am glad that things are starting to look up for you. It was a shame that you got so sick when you were working on recovering from the surgery. But we are sure glad that you are home and on the mend.

I will keep you in my prayers that you begin to feel so much better and before long you will be running right into your new and wonderful life.

Congratulations on the weight loss too. You are on the way for sure.

Glad to hear you are home once again.....hopefully for a full recovery. Sorry you had to go back in but I am glad they were able to help you and get you on your way once again.

13 pounds of fluid is pretty normal....you will lose it very quickly. Then....watch the pounds disappear...woohooo!

My goodness - pneumonia is rough even without the WLS.  Glad you are getting better now and will have a speedy recovery.
