I was up and out of the house before you wrote your last post.

2-1/2 year post op visit.  Gained 5 lbs, all in the last 2 months, I think.  Blood work is good.  Gained 5 lbs.  (I know I already said that, but I guess I have to repeat it a few times to get it through my thick skull....).  I'm not happy with myself, but I know what the problem is and plan to fix it.

Shopped on the way home, got some bargains.  Bought yet another pair of leather gloves, which I've locked in the closet with my new leather jacket, to keep it away from my Copper kitty, who ate three pair of leather gloves as well as the elbow out of my (formerly favorite) leather jacket last year.  She's got a real yen for lambskin.  Must be the tender, chewy texture.

I'm home for the evening.  Going to bed early.  I'm working tomorrow, and I'm beat.....as usual.

Good evening, Candy and everyone. I hope that today has been good to all of you. You deserve nothing less.

I had a busy day today. I went visiting our shut ins and that took about 3 and a half hours. Then I went to check on my niece, Autumn. She was in a car accident yesterday afternoon and she totaled her new car. She lost control of the car on wet oily pavement and ran into a truck. There wasn't much damage on the truck but like I said her car is another story. She did have a lot of pain in her knees and I finally talked her into going to the hospital. They x-rayed her one knee and told her that she is fine. I looked at them both this afternoon and the knee cap is sticking out on both of them. I told her that she should have them both done. She is hurting in her shoulder and her wrist is bruised all the way down to her fingers. She hit the dashboard with her hand and broke the turn signal stick right off. Her car is a mess. I don't think that they would be able to fix it. The insurance company is coming to get it tomorrow I think and taking it down to Indianapolis to check it out. I asked why since I have never heard of this and that is the way her insurance does it I guess. Oh well, at least she has the gap insurance on it so it will be totally paid off no matter what the insurance pays her for it.

I guess I should get going. I am making Bill homemade mac and cheese for his dinner. I have no idea what I am having. I am not even hungry so it might be nothing more than cottage cheese and pomegranates. I tried them this morning and OMG are those little things great. It is like a burst of sunshine in your mouth. Bill tried it and he spit it out. He hated them. I just laughed and thought that is all the more for me!

I am sending love and hugs to all and special prayers for everyone. I have been reading and all of us need them. In this day and age I don't think there is anyone that doesn't. Have a good rest of the night and sleep tight everyone!

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.
