i echo these sentiments and also, cara, thanks for this post!!!

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Cara, I echo your sentiments. I know that it because of what they do that we can all sleep in warm beds at night. May God always bless them~our peacemakers.

My dad served almost 4 years overseas in WW2 and fought in the Battle of the Bulge and was taken a POW during it also. I have many family members and friends that are fighting now and have fought in the past.

THANK YOU  for honoring the Vets among us.  I come from a long line of military men.  Vets are one of the many groups I try to help out.  We have a unit here at Madigan Army Hospital called the Wounded Warriors.  Young men who are making the transition from military to civilian life after a serious injury.  They need our prayers and support.  I also have a son in Iraq for his second tour.  Prayers are needed everywhere for our men and women in the uniform...

Ditto from me.

My uncle was in the Flying Tigers during WWII, and several friends were in Vietnam.  My heart and gratitude goes out to those who have served, those serving now, and their families who support and love them. Bless you all.
