Dr. Fitzer was Great!!!

I am home and doing pretty good.
My special thanks and gratitude go to my 'new' friend and help Mirielle.  I have met her twice and she has  called me every day for a week before the surgery and then long distance to Utica to the hospital and the hotel every day.  My peace of mind was definately influenced by her.
I have an infection in the site of my IV which the doctors say is like a second degree burn.  I am allergic to the tape that they used.
Inscision sites are all fine and I am already starting to lose.
Thanks also to all the people who sent me good wishes and prayers.  They worked.

Oh Sheri, thank God you are home and safe. I was worried. So sounds like everything is going well. You take care and when you feel better let us all know how you are coming along. We all missed ya.

We went down on Monday, Pats Tue, surgery Wed, in hospital Thurs, back to hotel Friday, in hotel Saturday, phone dr release Sunday and home late that night.  Was tired but happy....

I feel quite good, am surprised at myself...lol
My learning disabled daughter came home to stay and look after me.  She thought her dad might need help.... so sweet.  She makes me tea and keeps me hydrated and then I have to cook for the 2 of them....lol ........but they don't let me lift anything, they take over when lifting comes into it.

I'm over here in the upper corner of the US.  WA state, I'm just south of Seattle.  My surgery was March 19....  Mine is almost 9 months out.  It sure has made a big difference in how I feel.  I'm off most of the meds I had previously.

Soon you will be feeling much more energetic and you will find fun things happening.  Things like bending, moving easier, clothes get baggy, grocery bill is lower and changes in what to buy.  The transformation takes time but is fun to see.  I've lost 75 # and have 25 # to go.  I've been at the same weight now for a while but I'm not working at losing like I should either.
