My surgery is scheduled Nov. 25th. My desires are high however reality does set in. First 2-3weeks I think will be very hard. I'll be coming off of several meds., hopefully HB, HC and diabetes. Its the low blood sugar that has me worried until it can get stable and it may take the full 3 months.  That in its self will make me ill let alone recovery from the surgery. By 3 months I should be getting all my water in vitamins and trying reg foods and being careful this I expect to be a hard time possibly questioning why and what I had done to myself I expect all the mental challenges to be in this stage of recovery. I know that by 6 months out I should already be well into real foods and be on my way to a healthier life.  I expect the first six months to be alot of trial and error as well as alot of healing both physically and mentally. I don't expect to fly through it just take it one day (or hour) at a time. Each stage month by month should bring me closer to the person I was meant to be. In my case I am looking at a longer period of time for me to reach my goal because I have so much to weight to loose, and so many other things to gain.
Please let me know if this helps and am I thinking realistically or not.
