I also awoke to no voice...
I stayed home,slept a lot,and went to meet Jan S. We are talking food for the soul ladies,she gave me such an insprirational card that of course I cried,right in Startbuck! After 2 years of none of their coffee,it sucks by the way,and it was sugarless,3 sips and in the trash!
2 years ago today,I started my new life. I would not have been here without WLS,I was almost 500 pounds. God lead me to youse guys,of this I have no doubt,and endless gratitude.
I want to talk more,but Fangster says no.

not sure what today will bring, im starting off with click protein drink, havent had that in about a week or so, cause i have to watch the caffiene, but seemed like a good way to start the day since im up so early. its not even 5:30 yet here in NJ
i made a pot of soup yesterday with beans in it, i think that will be lunch and not sure about dinner yet.

No voice - bummer. Fangster is showing you he is still the boss after ywo years. What a day.
A slight change in my normal menu. We are taking the grand's out then going back to their house with pizza. (and salad) My daughters are so positive that I live on cottage cheese and water. They have no clue that Mom might not be who they THINK she is.

Linda, hope you are feelin' better today, and that your voice is back. We all need our voices!
Ever since I got up I have been singing 'It's my birthday and I'll eat if I want to, eat if I want to!' I have prepared one of my favorite 'comfort meals'. Reminds me of my Mommy. Meat loaf, scalloped potaotes, scalloped corn, crescent rolls and lemon meringue pie! I won't be eating the rolls, but I'm havin' some of the rest. Our son and his family took us out to Texas Roadhouse for dinner yesterday. November is my birthday, my husband's birthday, and our anniversary. So they always take us out for a big celebration of all of them. With 6 of us, that is a very expensive dinner! The food was great and I brought home leftovers for tomorrows lunch. But WHY do they have their music so loud? You can't even visit!
