Well it really is Sunday morning!  1225am to be precise!  I fell asleep on the couch early this evening and am now awake for a while!
Didn't do much Saturday, watched a movie, beaded, finished a Christmas gift and knitted, and of course read and computed.  hmmm, listed out like that it sounds pretty impressive eh?  LOL!

Anyway, chat on and I'll pop back on later! Have a GREAT Sunday everyone!

I didn't have a real exciting day on Saturday. Cleaned the house some. Its always a job. I don't know how much space it would take for me to have everything put away.

Then I got ready to go to the mall Petco to have one of the dogs picture taken. She's a Golden Doodle (part golden retriver, part black poodle.) Her 1st birthday is this week.

So we get there, a kitty was getting his picture takem, but he was not too happy about it. Chad was taking our Etta Mae around the store to try to get her to calm down a little. Which might have worked it everyone didn't think she was so cute and want to pet her, She just loves everybody!

We finally got a few good pictures of her, He had the same trouble we do with her, she's so black you can't see her eyes! Plus she needed a little trim above them. But they"ll make great Christmas cards. Last year it was Golda Mier on the cards. She's a little dog we rescued last year. She's a little older, she sits and begs really well, I had French fries then. When you don't have kids...the pets are the kids!  We had a good day anyway. Need to accomplish a little more tomorrow.

Hope everyone has a great one!

Good Morning Debbie and my OFF Family,

Woke up with a bit of back pain.  Not all that usual but still had to get a little something on stomach to take pain pill.  So I need to sit up for a while.

Had a good day Saturday, Did a little cleaning, changed sheets on bed.  One of my sisters called ( I have 4) and invited us to share supper with her and BF. They had gone flounder gigging Fri night and had fresh flounder.  Had also bought oysters, shrimp and deviled crab.  So I made slaw and hushpuppies and here we went.  Seafood platter and I am afraid that I was a pig! Ate more that I should have, not enough to be sick but still just a couple of bites more than normal for me.  Oh, well, back on the wagon today.

Got ready for SS class and got my craft ready.  Love those kids.

Well, I think I will try to catch a few winks of shuteye.

Sending prayers for health and financial blessings for all of us.

Have a great Sunday.

Good morning Debbie and all ~

We had a very relaxing day. Tom fixed a leaky bathroom faucet. Becky  is not pleased. She has appreciated having her own private drinking fountain.

We have a play date with Matthew and Melanie. That is always fun.

Not much else happening.

Kisses

Annette, Becky was enjoying the same thing that Misty is right now. In fact she has been loving it for almost a year.

My bathtub faucet leaks and she is in there with that more than she is out. She always gets her head sopping wet and then she comes out and gets on me and then shakes her head and gets me so wet it isn't funny. Does she do that with Daddy? Heck no........what is wrong with this picture?

The complex has "fixed" it 2 times and a couple of days later it is leaking again. I got into a argument with the manager this last time and I told Bill that this building will burn down before I call them to do anything else. So I guess Misty is going to have her drinking fountain for a while all to herself.

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.

 Brenda,
Mine interact differently with Tom and me too. Good for Daddy, brats for Mom.

If we didn't have a well, the drip wouldn't have bothered me too much. Becky loves the bathroom sink for sleeping. The drip was an added bonus.

Good Morning Ms. Debbie and Everyone,

It's been a busy weekend around here.   We are cleaning out the basement.  You know kids move in and kids move out and always leave stuff!    I actually unpacked a few boxes that were still packed from 7 years ago when we built our house.

In my younger years I was always very excited for Christmas and did alot of decorations etc for the kids.  Well the last several years as my kids are older I have not been very good about decorating.   My ex boss and other employee would make fun of me because I would barely get the tree up and it drives me nuts so I take it down about the day after Christmas.    Well I am going to  admit that I actually put my tree up yesterday.   It only made sense it was in the mess in the basement.    I can't wait to see what the grand daughters say when they get here tonight for the week.

Ms. Debbie I have alot of yarn and some unfinished afgans that I need to finish and I can't remember the stitches so I need some help!

Hope everyone is having a good Sunday!!

Well, good morning everyone.  DH is a deer hunter, last night he shot one.  But now he is out looking for it.  Thank goodness it is cold enough here so it doesn't matter that it isn't found until today.  Steve hunts with a bow and arrow, so it is quite a bit more "challengeing" than using a rifle.  He did that once and didn't feel there was much sport in it that way.  Mostly he just enjoys the outdoors and changing season.

I emailed our son Jake who is out on ship.  He is pretty excited and wants to see pictures of it.  Ugh, I miss him so much and with the holidays just around the corner, it is getting harder!

Don't have many plans for today........probably go to work for a bit, we have a council meeting on Monday night, which I am just dreading.  Then, I think grandson will be coming over to "play" on the sewing machine for a bit.  Guess not a real exciting day, but that is OK, my weekdays are challenging enough.

Hugs and best wishes to all.........V

we eat a lot of venison here- thx to BIL the hunter! don't tell my kids tho!!!
it's excellent protein....and we are almost out but no way to replenish since we cannot afford to drive to wisconsin this thanksgiving.....

i am not a hunter and did not grow up in a hunting family- had the opportunity once to help BIL track down a deer that he had shot...was interesting!!!

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.
