gooooodddd morning

its friday, hooray to that

im having my first mug of coffee right now, just took my prilosec and my b 12.

i think im cleaning out leftovers today, i seem to have accumulated many this week.  at least i can eat them now, early out, they all made me sick.

so prob some yogurt for breakfast.  for lunch im finishing a salad from yesterday, with ham and cheese in it.

for supper, i have bean soup leftover, i think i may need to add some broth though.  it looks like it got thickened up standing in the frig.

so thats the plan, now i gotta stick to it!!!

be safe and well, jacki

Good morning!!!!

I'm so glad it's Friday.  Yesterday was a very bittersweet day.  I had a fantastic meeting with my Nut and everything is going as it should.  I'm doing everything right according to her.  Yeah.
But then yesterday afternoon my boss was a flying  &^%hole.  Excuse my language.  He is anyway but I screwed something up and he chose to chew me out in front of some co-workers.  Afterward, I got up and went home.  I was only leaving like 10 minutes early but I wasn't going to sit there anymore.  I cannot believe what a jerk this man is.  He must be so miserable on the inside to treat people the way he does.  I would feel sorry for him but I'd rather just run him over with my car.  HAHAHA

Anyway.... so far today I've had my protein bar.

I hope today is quiet here at work the boss stays under his rock where he belongs.

TGIF!!!  Glad you're feeling better.

Seems like this week has been longer than usual.  But my friend, Gil, and I are speaking again and going to a movie/dinner tonight.  Finally have the belated hair appointment since I missed mine for surgery and my roots are quite prominent.  Looks like a whole lot of grey under a shaggy mop at the moment.

Also I am paying closer attention to protein and liquids to try to break this stall.  I found a 50 Calorie drink powder made with flower pollen, caffeine, ginsing and vitamins that allows me to be more active in the evenings and I made a good start on the neglected housework last night.  Life is looking up!  Now if I could just maintain more consistent exercise.

B Protein coffee
S yogurt
L pea soup/shrimp
S Pollen Burst energy drink
D fish/salad
S SF fudgecicle

Good morning our sweet Linda. I am so glad that today is Friday. I will have my little honey home with me all week. I guess I must have been going through back to work from vacation withdrawal. ha ha At least he lived to go back to work. He should thank God for that. There was a few times at the end of the vacation that he almost didn't make it. A court would not have evicted me either. Just let the women on the jury know he was on vacation and they would understand.

Food went really well yesterday. I guess it was time for a change. I am so glad that I know now to do it. I didn't eat everything but I was full. I was surprised too. So......today is going to be like yesterday.

B: sf oatmeal w/o milk
S: small apple and protein shake
L: half sandwich
S: fruit
D: ground round and veggies
S: fruit and protein shake

I think I am going to start on the dreaded protein shakes again. I should do that between a meal or two. I use to love them but since surgery they just tasted so bad to me. I know that I could get one down a couple of times a day, I don't think it would kill me. And it would up the protein I need. I know that I am not getting in what I should. I am getting the fruit in too and that makes me happy. I just changed the menu for the day to include those dreaded drinks. UGH! I can do for one day what I wouldn't be able to do for a lifetime. Must remember that!!!!

Have a wonderful and blessed day, my sweetie. I am sending love and hugs to you along with the special prayers for you and yours. Have a great day and remember to keep smiling!!

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.

If I were on the jury, you'd be acquitted in a flash!

Linda,

I got a call from the nursing home last name.  Mom is not responsive, won't eat, won't swallow.  Her vital signs are OK (though she's on oxygen now), no fever.  They wanted to know if I wanted to send Mom to the hospital.  I said no, thanks.  If she doesn't seem to be suffering, I can't see the sense in moving her and subjecting her to a bunch of tests just to prolong a life she clearly isn't interested in any more.

B: peanut butter chocolate protein shake
S1: iced skinny latte
S2: yogurt
L: pepperoni "rangoon"
S: smoked turkey & cheese rollup
D: chicken, marinated zucchini
S: SF pudding

I'm not going to post food today as I had a mini-binge after lunch.  Just got too hungry!

I called the DR. office and requested a fill at this next appointment on Monday, but didn't get a call back.

I just can't do this on my own, if I could I wouldn't have had the surgery in the first place!!!
