Hello OFF update
We had our pro-op appointment yesterday! YEAAfter the 3 hr. drive in fog and the 2 1/2 hr appointment then drive home again, boy was my tail flat! The appointment went real well we met with the Nut., Dr's assistant RN and the Man himself. Dr. Bright is such a sweet guy and seamed as excited as I am for the surgery. I lost another 13 pounds which made everyone happy. We crossed every T dotted every I and all is in order. I was so proud of my DH he asked well informed questioned and interacted with everyone all through the appointment. Thanks to all the lurking he has been doing on all the OH Boards he was as prepared as I for what ever question they asked. I stay on the 1000 cal diet until next Monday then the liquids with protein stage starts.

Sounds like you are well prepared for the journey ahead and you have the support of you DH, so that is great too! You are embarking on a wonderful journey towards healthier living. Looking forward to being one of the welcoming committee when you arrive on the Loser's Bench!
