Good luck to you, Lora ... if I had the money and didn't have all these problems from my knee replacement, I might consider the plastic surgery (but not as much as you're doing). But then I don't have nearly the problems from my skin folds as you do. I will keep you in my prayers and thoughts as I do all my OFF family always. You are very brave to go through this. Can't wait to see the after pictures.

You were smart to pick the best surgeon and get all those lumps/bumps/sags taken care of at once. He wouldn't take your case if he thought you wouldn't be another feather in his illustrious cap. HE will be asking for your picture in his portfolio to show off his skills.
This is not vanity (but that would be a good enough reason) it is for your physical and mental health. Yeast is good for baking bread but painful on the body.
Support - you have tons of it.

Lora, you don't have to ask twice for prayers for your upcoming change! And quite a change that is too. I admire you for doing that. I am just praying for a hernia because my wls doctor told me that if I get one and he does the surgery he throws in a tummy tuck with it. Hey, why not? ha ha
I will be keeping you in prayers and I know that God will take care of you. You have some hubby to do that. I am afraid that Bill wouldn't do it for me since he can't even change a dirty diaper (watch out grandbaby, you better hope that Grandma is around) without upchucking. He has such a weak stomach.
Keep us posted and know that we will be watching out for when Mary let's us know how you are doing.

I have seen his work on TV, he is primo numero uno as you know. Yes 9 hours is a long surgery. No kidding there. Do what they tell you to do pre op and post op. Follow the rules like your life depends on it (it does) and all will be fine.
I for one am extremely happy for you! I would do this in a HEARTBEAT if I could. Right now I can't, but I'm not ruling it out someday. Actually Melissa's husband Greg is saving for her PS and I think he's going to save enough for me too. Isn;t that what he said Melissa? LOL
Anyway, I have every confidence you will do just fine Lora. I'll tag along with Melissa when she comes to visit. I'd love to see you and Mary again!

I haven't been on the board forever, even though I think of all of you all the time. This job has turned into a 24/7 thing, or at least that is what it seems like. It must have been fate that I saw your post here as I breezed throught things to see what was new with everyone!
You are in my prayers and I know all will be well with you. I don't regret my breast reduction or tt for a minute. It wasn't vanity it really was neccessary! You are in wonderful hands and you are in great shape now so everything will go smoothly. I can't wait to hear about the new you.
