Hello dear folks, I went to doctors,am taking pain med for bruises that hurt like u no what....
I cramped all the night before due to potassium problem.
I am happy,but do not feel well,am back on Nexium for tummy too.
Love youse all!
Am gonna eat cottage cheese and chicken soup.Staying home and resting,

Oh my sweet Linda. I am so sorry that you are feeling bad. I am so hoping that most of all of this is far behind you soon. Today I am feeling better. I have lost .8 pounds of the couple pounds that I gained. So that is a great thing (better than good!).

Today is going to be the food on my menu and nothing more. I am going to include a bit more snacks and maybe that will help me through the day. I don't have to eat them but at least they are there. I am planning on grocery shopping tomorrow so I can stock up on cottage cheese and such. So here it goes.

B: sf oatmeal w/o milk
S: protein bar
L: half a sandwich
S: low carb slim fast shake
D: shrimp on my George and asparagus
S: apple

How does this sound today? I think it going to work. I am going to do this for a few days and see if I am right track. I hope that it works because something has to give and it is NOT going to me!

 Ouchy  Linda,  are these bruises from the fall last week?    Take care of  yourself.

Today is rainy and miserable outside so I will tuck myself away in the sewing room.  I have several projects to work on.  I put an audio book in the CD player and go off into my own little world.

Jobs are hard to come by... duh... so I'm planning on selling my creations on the Internet.  There is a site for handmade crafts.  Will see what happens.

S: protein shake w/ peaches

Good Morning Dear Linda....I am so sorry you are in pain. Rest, drink your water, and take good care of yourself sweetie!!

Not much new here....same old same old. My wonderful cleaning fairy is here and I am so happy for that!!

Dwayne and I are starting to feel alittle more for each other. I insist on taking this slow. He is patient and so sweet. He makes me feel like a princess.

Feel better, sweet Linda. 

Scale still not moving this week.  I know I should stop weighing daily.  I'm tracking food now and trying to get more protein in.  Did well yesterday until met friends at happy hour.  No drinking but couldn't resist a slice of pizza for $2.  Didn't eat most of crust though, just cheese, mushrooms, spinach, sausage and quite a few little cracker thingys they had in a bowl.  Need to make a better plan because meeting at this place after work is the locals main form of entertainment in my small village.

S apple/ South Beach drink
L pea soup and shrimp
S peanuts
D not sure yet

Hope your boo-boos get better soon.

Talking to my therapist yesterday was a huge relief.  She has clients at one of the local nursing homes and said that often patients decline when they are first adjusting to the nursing home, then improve, so I shouldn't give up hope for Mom just yet.

My Sweet Dahlin' Linda!  I'm so sorry you are having internal and external boo-boos and pain!  Its good to hear that you are staying home and resting today.  Since I can't be there, the best I can offer is to send good healthy thoughts to you and remember you im my prayers. 

As for me, I slept better last night but have still not completely caught up.  I'll be heading that way soon. 

Today's menu
B - 1 turkey sausage patty; 1/4 cup oatmeal
S - 1/4 cup cottage cheese; 1/4 cup splenda peaches
L - 1/2 cup chicken salad with 1 lettuce leaf and a couple baked pretzels
S - Missed this snack because I got too busy at work
D - 3/4 cup chicken and white bean chili
S - SF Jello pudding
