What we are eating and what's eating us Wednesday
I've been through a rough patch in the past week with my 'self-destructive' eating. Have recognized it and am back under control just in the nick of time. Too much of a healthy thing is just as bad as too much of a bad thing. I've kept my oldest grandson for the past 2 weekends and while I love him I am feeling burnt out. I need a lot of recouperation time (me time) and not having had that I'm falling prey to little comments made by friends and emotional eating. Getting my feet back firmly on the ground today! Hope your day is a great one!

Donna,I understand! I spend a lot of time with the grands, homework time can be a night mare, and I am going to make that time more organized. The drama of it,with my having to go to bed early has been draining..
Listen baby, sometimes ya gotta say "boundary time"!!
I will not talk about my eating yesterday. It is dead and gone, you and I both have new lives.
Please try to love YOU. Remember, our love of our family is not supposed to hurt.
We have a tool,we do not KILL it...
Hugs,dear lady.

When I went to visit Mom yesterday, she was lying in bed with her eyes closed, trembling. Occasionally she would respond to a question (when asked if she was in pain, she shook her head), but most of the time she didn't respond to anything. She did open her eyes long enough to look at me and whisper, "You look good."
I made an appt. to see my therapist today. I need help dealing with this.

I love your happy morning messages Linda. Today is a beautiful day. It's supposed to be almost 70 degrees again here in Wisconsin which is totally unseasonal weather but I'll take it. I hate the snow and cold.
Went to the gym this morning... had a good workout... I feel great!
So far today (again) I've had my protein bar. In a little while I'll probably have some yogurt.
I hope you all have a fantastic Wednesday.
