My recliner is dead

I did buy the chair locally, nine years ago, when I was much heavier, and I had planned to call La-Z-Boy tomorrow (now today), because the local guy that comes to the home couldn't fix it, even though he got the parts for free through La-Z-Boy ... but it took forever to get those parts (I've been dealing with this since at least mid-July or early August, can't remember when this happened, but it's been awhile) ... I just don't want to be without my chair for that long. It's the only chair I have.

OMG!!!  If my recliner dies somebody please come shoot me.  I sleep in that thing almost every night.  I can soooo understand how you feel Eileen.  I hope you find some way to get a new one.  Look in the paper.  Maybe  you can find a used one cheap. Somebody that's moving or something like that.
