Hi friends,

Well I am up a pound this morning but I expected it after halloween.  Yes, I blew it but I am back on track now.

Hope all of you had a wonderful Halloween and be strong through the holidays.  I am looking for a pretty christmas dress to show off my new body.  I love you all!

Hugs,
Esther

Good morning to you, Esther. Thanks so much for posting this. It helps to see things in black and white, or at least for me.

I am up a pound too this week. I am sure that it from Bill being on vacation. There have been changes to my menu. Some were good and some where not so good. Now today is the day he goes back to work and things will get back to normal. I am pleased that is happening. When things get out of my daily rut I get crazy~or more crazy than normal I should say.

I hope that you find a wonderful and glamorous dress for Christmas. I found a pantsuit that I just absolutely love and I paid $12 for it at Goodwill. It is new since it still had the tags on it. I just have to get the pants hemmed. I am so short (5'1") and everything but petites have to be hemmed. Oh well such is life I guess.

Have a wonderful day and I am sending love and hugs to you along with prayers.

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.

Hi Brenda,

I also found a cute christmas skirt and a red sweater at the Thrift store.  I usually can't find anything but this time I did and they also had the tags on them.  They look so small and when I put them on, they actually fit.  It still amazes me.  I am very tall, 5 ft. 11in. and my new size is
12 so for me that is small.

You are just like me, I have a routine and when my routine is changed I seem to go a little nuts in the eating area.  You are not alone, my friend.  Keep up the good work.

Hugs,
Esther

Esther,

A pretty dress is always good. I picture you in a cranberry red or deep forest green. The selections are so much better now.

Happy shopping. Don't forget new shoes too.

My weight is good. Halloween was not a problem because Tom kept the candy locked away.... all in his tummy within 2 days. It is a mystery why the man never gains an ounce.

Kisses

Halloween was not a problem, we ran out of candy!  Had 50 or 60 kids.

I am down 1/2 pound so that is good to see it going down ever be it so slowlly.

Enjoy your shopping!

Hi Annette,

I know what you mean about men.  My husband isn't thin but he is not overweight by any means and he ate all the left over candy too so I wouldn't be tempted and he never gains.  It is frustrating.  I love forest green and red together so I am going to look for those colors and I love shoes too so that will also be included with the outfit.  I did find a cute skirt (green and red plaid) and a red sweater at the thrift store.  The thrift store here in Utah is so organized and really clean and nice.  Most of their clothes have the tags on them and the prices are right.  I just went in to look around because it just opened and I heard from a neighbor that it was great so I went and was amazed at the prices and the clothes that were on sale.

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.  I think about you all the time and will never forget that you helped me through it all and called me in the hospital which really touched my heart.

Love and hugs,
Esther
