Bag all packed and ready for surgery in the morning!

Just wanted to post a hello.  I am packed and ready to go.  Surgery is at 12:00.  I have to be there at 10:00 and they said there might be a cancellation.  I cant believe its really here.  I am nervous.
Not as bad as I thought it would be though.  I made it through  the liquids.  Today was really tuff.  It didnt really bother me till today.  I wanted some real food so bad. ....... I didnt cheat.   I just had the liquids that I was allowed.  I dont want any complications.   I only had to do this for 4 days.  For the people who did it for 10 days I tip my hat..   I would have been pulling hair out.

I will post again with an update when I get home.  Right now I am just praying this goes smoothly, with no complications.  This is the beginning of a lighter life.

A little nervous to go to bed yet.   I guess this is natural from what I've been reading.  I dont have an early morning and only have to go about 15 min away from home.  Very close.

I will try and have a friend post for me while I am in the hospital.

Good luck JoAnn.  I think I almost had a nervous breakdown the day before surgery.  It is a big step and it will change your life.  I'm sure everything will go smoothly.

I leave tomorrow for Utica about 4.5 hours away for my surgery which is Wednesday.
I also only have 4 days and after 2 am worried I won't be able to make it.  But I will!!!

My prayers are with you. I can't wait to hear how it goes for you.  I'll be having mine the 25th and Yes I'm one of those 14 day only liquids and 1 day clear liquids day befor surgery. The 900-1000 diet they have me on now is ruff enough I'm not sure how the liquids will go.  Oh well what ever it takes to be on the loosers bench! LOL Again can't wait to hear how uneventful your surgery goes.

After all that snow on Tuesday and Wednesday, it is all gone now and it is raining.  The weather is so unpredictable....
