Monday my journey begins

I sure appreciate the hugs.  I am a very touchy person.

I will try to shop til I drop Monday so that I can get to sleep.  That is something I have not done to well with lately.

Glad you are keeping the bench warm, it is not so warm here in my part of Canada right now.

Best wishes for a safe surgery!  You will do great!  Ditto what Margo said about the chapstick and pillow.  I also brought my Ipod with relaxation music on it for the noisy nights when my IV beeped incessantly. This is the beginning of something really wonderful!

Don't have an Ipod but am bringing a sleep mask and earplugs.  Hope that will help.

I am keeping you in prayers for God to hold you in circle of His loving arms and give you a safe surgery and a quick and pain free recovery. Enjoy your therapy and I know that you will enjoy your new and wonderful life. It is the greatest! We are all there with you in spirit and when you feel a gentle breeze across your cheek it is us letting you know we are there with you.

Your friend is right in that it is normal to be freaked out. But really and truly that will go away. We would be concerned if you weren't. You are starting a new life and it is unknown~rest assured we all went through that!

Hugs and love to you and we are going to be scooting over soon to make room for you on the bench. If you hear a whoo**** is us scooting!

I always enjoy your posts because they are so inspirational!!
Said an extra prayer at church this morning as it was All Saints Sunday and took up a candle for all those who went before me and didn't make it through and thanked God for all who have new lives because of this surgery.

Shopping will be great, I have a longish list of things to buy, including some things for Christmas.

Love the breeze analogy, it will make me think of you now whenever I feel one.
