Monday my journey begins
Well today is my last day at home. Of course I am on clear liquids only til surgery.
Monday we head down to Utica, NY (4.5 hour drive) so that I can have my PATS on Tuesday and then surgery is Wednesday.
Of course I am freaking out a little, but a wonderful new friend has assured me that this is normal, and that I have nothing to worry about. Thanks Mirielle!!!
My DH and I will be staying at the Holiday Inn and I plan to do some shopping on Monday and Tuesday. (Nothing like retail therapy to keep your mind busy and your plastic hot).
Will come onto the board when I get home next week, hopefully Monday the 10th.

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Thanks for the hugs and prayers. They are greatly appreciated.
Hubby is very supportive and that means a lot. How he'll feel after I melt the credit cards from use is another matter.
Yes I am bringing both chapstick and a pillow. I am quite positive about this and realize I NEED to do this to live a better life.
