Hiya guys, sure enough, only the grands for trick or treat! Hope all went well. I do not mean to be extreme, but in today's climate, being African American,we did not want to be going up to people's doors. There is hate brewing in America, heaven help us all!
B-Kashi and Yogurt L-Chicken Fiesta/Healthy Choice D- Burrito on a high fiber,low carb,wheat tortilla.
Be blessed,not stressed.

Linda - unfortunately you are right about the times... people are mean these days, but not only towards your race, but everyone....

Breakfast - 6 oz yogurt
Lunch - chicken enchilda type casserole
Supper - not sure yet.

Snacks - I am making mango protein ice cream and I see that in my future.  Also I am making cottage cheese, jello, cool whip that I call Fluff.  I truly love this stuff and it goes down so easy.  And I will have a protein drink.

I am quite tight these days and the casserole may not work out, but it is in my plan.  It just may have to wait until later in the day.

Enjoy your weekend.

Hiya Miss. Sheila. Your menu sounds yummy. I believe in love, and I believe that people are good, basically. We all bleed red,and we are all God's children.
Thank you for being here.

Good Morning Linda,

I too will be glad when the election is over.  I hate all the negative attack ads, the last couple days they have gotten worse,  to the point where I'd never vote for the people running them.
I'd rather the candidates tell us what they are going to do to fix this mess, than to point fingers at the other one.  I never could understand how people can be so hateful.

We had quite a few trick or treaters,  unfortunately  still lots of candy left...I should've given the last kid the rest in the bowl...If I realized he was the last one I would have...LOL.......  Maybe my mom will take it home with her.

Haven't quite started the day yet, so here is the plan.  We'll be on the road for most of the day , taking mom back to wisconsin and returning , so it will be a little stressful.

B- coffee & Oatmeal
L- 6 ' turkey sub, just meat & vegies
D- Salmon Burger & salad ( that will be quick to make when we get back home)

Hugs, Paulette

well the good news is that Halloween is over and in a couple more days, the election will be over as well.  whichever way it goes, history will be made, so this is an exciting time for our country.

i hope that people will try and be kinder, hard times are sure here, and that they will also be more tolerant of their fellow americans.

as to my menu

so far i had coffee, some fage yogurt with honey, and 1/2 cup of kashi cereal

not sure about lunch, we will be out, maybe a sald with protein

dinner will prob be leftover tuna salad from lunch yesterday.

im craving some ice cream, may go in search of a container of Edys NSA for treat tonight
and lots of water in between, ive been slacking there

be safe and well everyone, jacki

The true test of my WLS comes under stress.   This past week was very stressful with my sister going into the hospital.  I didn't do as well as I would like to but not as bad as it could have been.   The drive over was fine but once there the food choices were not good and the drive back was a non-stop binge.... compulsive eating.    Boy, there were food issues to be dealt with when traveling.

Today is the beginning of some serious eating evaluations.  Seems I do that a lot.  It is amazing what triggers us to eat to soothe our emotions.

B: cottage cheese,  half apple 1 oz ham
L: chili  cheese  onion
D: pea soup .. toast
S: Protein shake  apple slices
