My Wow...

This is coming to you directly from the Grand Cayman Island! My husband and I have been here for almost a week celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. It has been storming here since Monday but we are enjoying the trip regardless. My wow moment came yesterday- I climbed backwards down a steep ladder into a cramped submarine! Oh my gosh, I sure couldn't have attempted that a year ago! I was so proud of myself!

I remember when I rode the tram up to the top of the St. Louis arch ... it was so tiny and I remarked that I would never have been able  to do that at 347 pounds. Ain't it wonderful?

Aloha Julia.....Oh, how I LOVE wow moments! Yours is a doozy! The visuals we get from stories like yours ring so true for all of us who are at one place or the other of the WLS journey. I, too, could NEVER have climbed down a ladder into a submarine at 319 lbs. Wouldn't even have considered it. I think it's called FREEDOM OF BODY!!
