TGIF - It is FRIDAY - What's new with you????
Good morning you all. Nice days here in Texas. Temperature is going up to about 80. Overnight lows are in the low 60s. I personally prefer it a little cooler.
Working a stretch here of about 3 weeks straight at my full time job, some overtime came available just in time for me to get some money together for Christmas.
Saturday night going to see a Circus Soleis (sp) type thing. Employee Appreciation Night.
Sorry no rundown today. Just a little drained and wanted to get this done. I want to get a QOTD started.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

That day I was wearing two hospital gowns; one didn't cover my back side. What a lovely costume.
My emotions went from relief, to anticipation, to terror, to happy and all over the scale of feelings.
Due to other emergencies my surgery time kept getting pushed later in the day. By late afternoon, I lost it and cried for my husband to TAKE ME HOME. At that point, the anesthesiologist walked in the room with happy drugs.
My next memory was waking up in my room, thinking "oh no, they decided not to do the surgery". I expected to be in severe pain, but it wasn't bad at all.
My life has changed far beyond any dreams. Far too many to list on one page.
I have lost almost 2/3 of my entire body weight - that's a whole bunch of change. But I have GAINED a life worth living.
There have been some down times and bumps along the way. Thanks to my supportive OFF family, I made it through the struggles. You held me up when I was fighting to go forward. Without your help, I couldn't have kept trying.

Today I see the surgeon for my two year check-up. Instead of two hospital gowns, I will be wearing a big smile and ... hmmm ...not sure what to wear. But it is NOT going to be a very tight size 4X. Those don't fit anymore.

Congrats on your two year surgiversary, Annette.
You've come a long way, Baby, and you look terrific.
There's no trick for you, you are such a treat!!
Have fun at your checkup and give that surgeon something to look at that will "knock his sox off!"
Love ya!

Done! Your Ticker:
Congratulations to you, Annette! You have done awesome!
I am just over 3 years out, & never made it to my goal. The Doctor never gave one. But I am very happy where I am.
Today is my grandaughter's birthday. Morgan is the one with cancer. So far she is doing great. She was diagnosed
with stage 4 neroblastoma & we didn't have much hope for her, but here she is over 2 years later.
Prayers do make a difference & now we are so hopeful. Today she is 6. I hope you all have a fun halloween!!!
