Linda,

I got bad news this morning - my #1 client has decided not to renew our contract when it expires on 11/30/08 because his business is so lousy and he can't keep all his regular employees, never mind consultants. My #2 client, whose projects are small and infrequent, isn't doing any better than the other guy.  No one is hiring for office type work in my area.  Looks like I may have to become a greeter at Wal-Mart.

B: peanut butter chocolate protein shake
S1: 20-oz iced skinny latte
S2: 6 oz yogurt
L:  3 oz lemon-lime shrimp salad, 1/2 tomato
S:  1 oz cheese, 1 oz smoked turkey
D:  3 oz Shelly's pizza bites, 2 oz turnips
S: 4 oz SF pudding

Good morning everyone!

So far today I had one of my yummy protein bars and a few strawberries.

Lunch is some salmon and green beans.

Yogurt for a snack... and I think I have another snack packed but now I can't remember what it is... haha

I hope everyone has a peaceful day full of joy!

Dear Jean,America is getting hit so hard,it is scary.I took a loan application from a lady today who told me she would soon be homeless, she is also mentally handicapped. Where is the love and compassion gone.I lost it on the phone, disolved into tears and had to put her on hold, when I came back on,she said "you mustn't cry". I told her it was allergies, my boss knew it was not, and came to me to see if I was ok. I can not walk straight, have not slept in my bed for over a year now, still I am blessed.
You are such a good person,I can not help but believe God has a better plan for you.
I have grown to look forward to hearing from you and my adopted mom..smile, she is a pistol.
I hope and pray that a new door will open for you.Is there a Wells Fargo call center in your area? If there is a Wachovia there, there may soon be.
Keep the faith, you are so kind, and seem to pay it forward. I wish for the best for you, sweet lady.

Hiya sweet Paulette,I love the bubbles.! Your turkey leg sounds yummy. I am happy the  scale is favoring you today. You sound so peppy today. Please always remember how many people you touch! We have many lurkers, and they sometimes write and say thanks. So we may do this for ourselves, but we touch many.
Huge hug back at ya!

Howdeeeee back atcha,

Life is simple but rewarding here. Still trying to get caught up at work after surgery.  We're expecting our first significant rain of the season starting this evening and man do we need it.  There is some concern regarding mudslides after the big fires this year.

B  coffee & yogurt
S banana
L refried beans/butternut squash soup
S pudding
D not sure yet but maybe tomato/roasted red pepper soup
    or cottage cheese/applesauce

Thoughts become things...choose the good ones.
