TOMORROW IS 'D' DAY.......

10:20 p.m.  I'm off to bed.  Bag is packed.  Pumpkin is filled with Halloween candy.  House is still a wreck but it's the best it will do. 

Mike has the numbers to call when I get out of surgery.

so. this will be my last post for awhile, I'm sure.  I've got tons of stuff to do, packing light, taking good sugar scrub soak, leaving for appt at 4:30 to get 'marked up', trying to get a decent night's sleep. Son is coming over to play cards and Farkle to keep me from going insane tonight.  Have to be at the hospital at 5 a.m.  Will need to leave about 4:15-4:30...it's not that far but parking and finding it.... Hospital is attached to Parkland Memorial (where they took JFK).  It's called Zale Lipshy. Supposed to be one of the superior hospitals with teaching staff on the level of Harvard Medical School and has four Nobel Prize winners in their medical department. 

Surgery duration is about 5 hours but they said could be more like seven.  Just give me DRUGS.

For all who have gone before me, thanks for the encouragement and the support. 

I'm prepared.  I bought 7 pair of white cotton panties and a red thong.

See you all when I'm coherent.

I'm a little nervous about this picture thing....what if I post one with no head and it ends up on the internet and someone recognizes me?...:)  Oh, wait... nebbermind. Anyone that would recognize me is too old to do anything anyway.

I love the 'drug' part.  I am nervous certainly and no there will be pain and by tomorrow night I'm going to be cussing anyone that gets near me.  I'm not a good patient....and to top that off, NO STARBUCKS!!!

I plan to stay as asleep and quiet as I can and only move when they make me.
