Alive and Well and Can't Stop Smiling

Finally I get a chance to come back and see my OFF friends, I am suffering serious with drawal. I got home from my vacation on Sunday. The plane was full and they gave me the opportunity to take a later flight and  earn a free round trip ticket to any place in the US.  I didn't do it and I knew I would regret it ( and I do) but I was tired and just couldn't see my self sitting in the airport for 8 hours. Plus I was starving and figured Id spend the $$ I was saving on buying airport food ( that is suppose to be funny) Every moment of my week was perfect. I so enjoyed meeting Judy and Rick( they are so cute together, you have to wear sunglasses around Judy because she just glows)  Margo, if we lived close I am afraid ,much to Michaels dismay, we would probably spend every day together, talking, laughing, doing crafts and research. With Melissa we had such a good time together !! The thing about the roller coaster was.. when I had my surgery I had a list of "things I want to do when I lose weight" Ride an amusment park ride was the last thing to check off my list. And I hadn't riden a roller coaster since I was a teen, I was too big and always afraid the bars wouldn't hold me,  BUT I DID IT!! was scared spitless but Melissa was such a great support. Poor Melissa she did all the driving and then had to go back to a full day on Saturday. Whata sweetie!!  THANK YOU  LADIES FOR MAKING MY B-DAY SO PERFECT. My lighthouse tour was  incredible and on Saturday we took a dinner mystery train trip.It was fantastic( Blissfield in Michigan) So much fun and the food( wayyy too much was wonderful) and I was given a desert with a candle to celebrate my b-day. My step mom was a perfect traveling companion, up to anything and very adventursome. You would never guess she is 67 years old.  I cried when I left, I just wasn't ready to come home. Enough for now I need to catch up on posts.. Blessings

time was too short ....it was so awesome tho to be together after all these years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and if i had to walk thru scarey stuff; i think you and melissa were perfect hand holders for me *** yup--i am a wuss!!!!)

Sigh.. I know I am kicking myself royally. I am so glad the news on Michaels leg and Chicos condition is positive.. Now to get everyone better.  No problem on the  haunted walks, If a ghoal tried to get you I would have slugged him.. grin.. Check out "whats new" for some news in my work situation...

Margo you just told on yourself.   Jean and I wouldn't have said anything about the scary stuff!  lol

Jean I'm glad you had a wonderful vacation.   I too wish you would have gotten the free tickets!   I enjoyed our visit!  

You were in Blissfield?   OMG I am not far from there at all!  About 25 minutes!  HMPH.  Next time!

wish the weather would have been warmer so we could have walked out on the pier to see the lighthouse...maybe another time we can do that.

We went to Penn  and on the way back we stopped at Fairfield and caught the other lighthouse that the guy said woman our age shouldn't even try..Telling me I CAN'T do something just waves a red flag in front of my face. We had a blast ! Kay got poison summac, and I fell on my face in the mud. I loved meeting you and Rick and your very welcome for dinner. HUGGGS

LOL sorry that kay got poison summac tho!! yuck!!! hope its better now!! and just how did you fall on your face??? we loved meeting you also jean!! rick said he didn't understand how we knew so much about each other if we never met....LOL had to explain how we "talk" online here thru OH...and like he forgot how "we" met!!! LOL was the internet....how soon he forgets...LOL
